My hometown is in a small mountain village, where the scenery is beautiful. There are mountains, water, flowers and grass, as well as trees planted all over the mountains, including Zizyphus jujuba, jujube, peach and apricot. I love my beautiful hometown, but I love apricot trees in my hometown more.
In spring, the drizzle is like silk. Apricot trees greedily suck the nectar of spring. They spread their green leaves. With the breeze blowing, the branches sway gently, as if laughing and making noise in this sweet spring rain. They look particularly charming.
Every March and April, apricot trees bloom. Unlike ordinary trees, apricot trees bloom first and then grow leaves. The beautiful little flowers, white and pink, look at them from a distance like umbrellas, which are particularly beautiful. A gust of wind blew, and a faint fragrance came on, and the fresh taste was intoxicating.
After the Dragon Boat Festival, apricot trees are already full of fruits. When the fruit is small, it looks particularly tender, especially when it is sunny after the rain. The small green apricots < P > are hanging upside down on the tree like green shining gems. When Xinger grew up, his head was as big and red as a small peach, but not as sharp as a peach. Strangely, there was a big hole in his stomach, as if he had been cut by something, which made people feel very distressed. Without ripe apricots, it felt as if his teeth were going to be sour. But ripe apricots were different. It tasted sweet and delicious.
I remember asking my father why Xinger has two sides. One side is red and the other side is green. The red side is much sweeter than the green half. Dad said, "The red side is basked in the sun, and the green half is not basked in the sun." Dad also said that people who get lost can also find directions according to this, and apricot trees can help him find out which is south and which is north. I thought, the role of apricot trees is quite big.
Every time I walk into the market, I will hear the cries of "selling Xinger, selling apricots ...". When people pass by, whether they are pushing carts, carrying bags or rushing, they will stop to buy some and take them back to taste.
I love apricots in my hometown.
