What is the bursa of fabricius of sheep?
Sheep placenta. Sheep's bursa refers to the placenta of sheep. They are two tough and transparent membranes, which are located in the placenta of placental animals and contain developing embryos (later become fetuses). Until shortly before birth, the inner membrane is amniotic membrane containing amniotic fluid and embryo, and the outer chorion is wrapped with amniotic membrane, which itself is a part of placenta.
