When visiting Jionji, climbing the Ci 'en Tower and thinking about the story of Xuanzang, the story of The Journey to the West and Tang Sanzang can't help appearing. Wu Cheng'en's Tang Priest, a tattered monk, is weak and has a firm belief.

Cien Town, located in the northwest corner of Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square in Xi 'an. A bustling commercial center. There was no such town when I first went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in 1986. The year when the town was built has not been verified, and it won't be too long.

The name of Ci 'en Town is obviously based on the traffic of Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Jionji. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as Ci 'enta, has a low-key and luxurious dignitary name.

Jionji, Cienta and Cien Town come down in one continuous line. In general, there are two kinds of pagodas in temples, namely, temples before pagodas, or pagodas before temples. Cienta belongs to the former. They are all related to Xuanzang, the Tang Priest Tang Sanzang. The great monk Xuanzang went to India to learn Buddhist scriptures through hardships, studied in India for more than ten years, and devoted himself to studying hard. The Tang Priest was the man of the hour in Nalanduo Temple.

In India, he got the highest education in Buddhism, and also possessed the deepest knowledge of Buddhism. Nineteen years later, Tang Xuanzang returned to his hometown. From the central government to the local government, the biggest ceremony that could be done at that time was held for him. He was invited to be an official in Beijing, or to become a monk.

Xuanzang made a request to build a temple with a tower inside. This is a beautiful thing, and it was immediately sought after by the royal family and the people. It is said that the donated money is enough to build temples and towers. According to his memory, he designed a tower like Nalanduo Temple. Legend has it that the pagoda of Nalanduo Temple was specially built for the wild geese to fall and save the monks who were about to starve to death, hence the name of the Wild Goose Pagoda. Xuanzang personally supervised the completion of all the buildings in Chang 'an. He is the chief designer, chief engineer and project supervisor.

This tower is different from all pagodas in China, which is the reason. After the pagoda was built, Emperor Taizong of Tang Gaozong personally wrote a preface for it. Today, there is a post by Chu Suiliang and a monument by Wang Xizhi. Either one is the best.

Today, the ruins of Jionji still exist. Although the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was not the one built by Xuanzang, it is still a landmark in Xi 'an, standing high in the first important town in northwest China.

Some experts have proved that the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is still a building in the Tang Dynasty. The structure of the tower, bricks and other buildings all have the characteristics of the Tang Dynasty. Think about how hard it is! It is a miracle that this brick tower has been well preserved since more than 1111 years of natural wind and frost, war and man-made destruction.

The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is watched and worshipped by people all over the world every day. Every time I see or climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, there will always be all kinds of Tang Priest in my mind. For more than 1111 years, Buddhism still prevailed in China. Tang Priest not only left the Wild Goose Pagoda, but also left Jionji, and there was a slightly declining Faxiangzong.

The silly and cowardly monk in The Journey to the West is just the creation of Wu Cheng'en, but he borrowed the name of Tang Sanzang. You don't have to know the hardships and efforts he made to get the scriptures; You don't have to know how tenacious he is; You don't have to know his will to never stop until he reaches his goal, and his indifference and tranquility after he has achieved his achievements ... What he did after returning to China is one thing: concentrate on turning over the scriptures. Yes, Tang Sanzang passed down from generation to generation by translating scriptures, just like another famous monk, Kumarajiva. They could have written books, but they only became translators for the purpose of passing on scriptures.

You don't have to know more about him! However, as long as you walk into Xi 'an and visit the Wild Goose Pagoda and Cien Town, you will know him, his story, his will and the Wild Goose Pagoda he designed and built.

Compared with Jionji and Cienta, the age of Cien Town can be ignored. In order to increase traffic, Cien Town was built beside Cien Tower. The name is small town, worthy of the name. The town is full of fireworks, and it is a food world that gathers all over the country.

gourmet world mainly deals in famous snacks from all over the country. Sichuan's hemp, Hunan's spicy food, Shanxi's sour food, South's sweet food and North's salty food are all available in the town. Not only China, but also delicious food from other countries in the world. For example, Japanese sushi, Korean barbecue, American KFC and so on, all kinds of brands and grades of milk tea have a place here.

Tuan Tuan walked around the town. Those snacks were just appetizers. Authentic local delicacies are the mainstay. Lao Sunjia's bread in soup, winding, the best noodles in the world, Qishan noodles with minced meat, etc., and there are many pastries that can't be called names, which are dizzying. There are also local specialties for sale in the square, just like an antique street in many places.

In the warm sunny afternoon, take a walk around Jionji Grand Square, and then take a stroll in Ci 'en Town, find a place to sit casually, get some snacks, and eat a few mouthfuls, which will soon eliminate the physical and mental fatigue.

At the entrance of Ci 'en Town, there is a group of interesting sculptures: three turtles are stacked in turn from big to small, and I don't know what to say. The bottom one, chinemys reevesii, has a smooth and shiny head touched by tourists. A thousand-year-old king and an 81,111-year-old turtle. Touching the turtle's head is healthy and long-lived.

it doesn't matter whether you touch the turtle or not. It is important to live a good day with a relaxed mood. Now that you are in Xi 'an and Jionji Ruins Park, let's have a good stroll. Go to the front of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, look at Xuanzang's colorful life and think about the great power of ideals and beliefs. Finally, go to the food world in Ci 'en town and have a drink. The purpose of a trip is to forget all the insults. It's not up to you to live long.

Compared with many people, Tang Sanzang does not live long. But he has lived and will live.
