"The Taste of Common People" is broadcast on Jiangsu Satellite TV.

The "Taste of the Common People" program will be broadcast on Jiangsu Satellite TV at 20:20 every Friday from November 19, 2021; it will end on January 28, 2022.

This program is a food documentary reality show jointly produced by Jiangsu Satellite TV and Fengwei Holdings. Nicholas Tse serves as the "Food Search Officer" and the program has 10 episodes.

"Taste of the People" program content

Nicholas Tse and Su Bingtian went into the mountains and forests of Northeast China to search for precious ingredients to make "Su Ji Dessert". While searching for ingredients, the two met Zhang Wenjuan, a local female "mountain runner", and followed Zhang Wenjuan to experience mountain running. During the conversation with Zhang Wenjuan, Nicholas Tse learned about Zhang Wenjuan’s difficulties as a mountain runner, so he decided to reward Zhang Wenjuan and his wife with delicious food.

Su Bingtian, who came to the show with an "important mission", was ready to present a surprise to his wife. Because of her years of training and competition, and spending less time with her family and more separation, her wife often sends her the warmth of home through photos of homemade delicacies.

Recalling the gift he bought for his wife with his first salary and the little secret of the two's "love" when they were in love, Su Bingtian "washed his hands and made soup", transformed into a doting wife and cooked the food himself. Years of love are also packed away.
