How Steel is Tempered

Populus euphratica in the desert is born and never dies, but never dies for a thousand years.

This summer vacation, I was lucky enough to read How Steel was Tempered by the famous writer ostrovsky, which made me have a hearty spiritual meal, and it became one of my favorite extracurricular readings.

In this famous book, many characters with different personalities have been created, and my favorite is pavel korchagin, the protagonist of the novel.

how should people live to be meaningful? Pavel korchagin gave a perfect answer with his own practical actions. In our daily life, there are many disabled people around us, but how many people have "stood up" again with their strong will? However, pavel korchagin, who was disabled because of misfortune, overcame it with his tenacious perseverance, although his physical movements were inconvenient. After his disability, he did not lose heart, studied harder, worked hard and started literary creation. But once again, misfortune befell him, and blindness is undoubtedly worse for him who has been paralyzed! However, he still picked up a pen, groped and insisted on writing. Every word he wrote required more hard work than ordinary people could imagine. He finally succeeded in writing the first few chapters of the novel Born in a Hard Storm. When I read this, my heart had already been deeply shocked. pavel korchagin's determined face seemed to be right in front of my eyes. Pavel korchagin, an ordinary soldier, has such a strong will of steel. What is this power that inspires him? I think it is the greatest and most magnificent proletarian cause that calls him to create miracles again and again! This is the driving force for his tenacious struggle against the disease.

Think about today's children. Their living conditions are superior. They are all "little princesses" and "little emperors" in the eyes of their parents. Like flowers in a greenhouse, these children have never experienced wind and rain, and they are taken good care of and cared for. If suddenly one day, these children encounter a little setback in their lives, then what will their reaction be? This reminds me of a short story. The boss's daughter of a financial company is a captain, with excellent academic performance and beautiful people. Once, she was late for class, and the teacher told her to stand outside the door for a while according to the usual practice of treating other students. Unexpectedly, she ran to the top of the building and jumped down ............................................................................................................................. Afterwards, the daughter's father said sadly. From this point of view, today's children are really unimaginable when they encounter difficulties or setbacks!

Mr. Lu Xun once said: The dead are really dead before they are buried in the hearts of the living.

Paul Kochagin is the kind of person who lives and is remembered by the people. After his death, the hero who was engraved in the hearts of the people, as he said, "The best thing in life is that when a person is no longer alive, he can still serve people with everything he has created."

Heroes are not born, just like steel, they need to be forged with flames. This is the great Paul spirit!

Entomology

Living in a human world, we will inevitably forget those microscopic worlds, but he is different. He spent his whole life observing and studying insects; He wrote ten volumes of books for insects all his life; He is the creator of miracles. He is the French entomologist-Fabres. His Insect Tale is known as "the epic of insects", which is an excellent popular science work and a recognized literary classic.

In Insect Tale, the author revealed the little-known life and habits of insects to human beings, so that human beings have a better understanding of the real life of insects. Fabres's careful observation and detailed description of insects give us a deeper understanding of insects. For example, in order to capture the tarantula, the author fought with his scheming opponent: I found the main stem of a plant, tied an ear of wheat at the top, and used it as bait to gently shake it at the mouth of the spider. Soon I found that the spider's attention was attracted by the ear bait and began to walk cautiously towards the ear of wheat. I led this guy out of the hole, convinced that he could not escape back to the hole, and quickly pulled out the ears of wheat; Seeing a genial smile, the spider turned around and swooped at the hole. Of course, I won't let it escape and seal the hole before its tip. The tarantula tarantula took the liberty to lose her head for a moment, and even avoiding my capture was extremely clumsy. Finally, I drove it into a paper bag and quickly sealed the mouth of the bag. Through observation, the author learned about the living habits of Tarantula tarantula. However, the killing scene of the tarantula poisonous spider is even more thrilling: almost at the same time, two spiders jumped up and pounced on each other. They danced their long legs around each other and stubbornly bit each other with fangs on the upper jaw. I don't know whether it was fatigue or the usual practice, but the fighting was suspended. Both sides retreated from their respective positions, but both remained in a state of deterrence. In the end, the loser will be thrown out of the court by the winner. It must bear the bad luck of failure, and its head was torn open and became a delicacy in the mouth of the conqueror. An insect fight was vividly presented to us through the author's clever description.

Between the lines, I can see the author's tireless and never-ending spirit. How can careful observation, wonderful narration and delicate description not fascinate us with Insects? In life, we should integrate with the micro-world and respect their living habits; At the same time, we should also learn from Fabres's research spirit of not stopping until things are clarified!

Gulliver's Travels

In the summer vacation, I read Gulliver's Travels, but just this reading, I was completely attracted by this book!

Gulliver's Travels tells the story of the protagonist-Riemel Gulliver's four sailing experiences. Gulliver sailed four times. The first time he was caught in a storm, the storm overturned his ship. Gulliver drifted to Lilliput (Lilliput) and later escaped and returned to England. Gulliver went out to sail again for the second time, and was caught in a storm. So Gulliver and his crew wanted to anchor on an island. Gulliver rowed a lifeboat to dock. When he called his companion, his companion was chased by a giant and abandoned Gulliver. Later Gulliver went to the island and was caught by the giant. Finally escaped. On the third voyage, Gulliver met pirates and was abandoned to an island by pirates. There, Gulliver met the flying island, where people were abnormal in appearance and strange in clothes, and meditated all day. After leaving the country, Gulliver came to India and then returned to England by boat. For the fourth time, Gulliver encountered a sailor rebellion during his voyage and was exiled to the country of Hui, where Ma was a rational resident and ruler. There, Gulliver was called a kind of beast there-"Wild Hu", and Gulliver's manners and words were regarded as a rational "Liehu" by the Ma people in the "Hui" country. Influenced by all the virtues of "Hui Gui", Gulliver was bent on staying in the "Hui Gui" country. However, the "Hui Gui" country decided to destroy the Lehu there, so Gulliver's wish could not be realized. In desperation, Gulliver had to leave the country by boat and go home.

After reading this book, I also hope that I can go to Lilliput to have a look. If I get there, I will help the residents of Lilliput to build houses. If there is a criminal, I will immediately run to catch him. I believe that with the concerted efforts of me and the residents of Lilliput, their country will become more and more prosperous!

Gulliver's Travels not only gave me knowledge, but also made me experience wonderful worlds and understand a profound truth. I didn't read this book for nothing!

If Give Me Three Days of Light

Recently, I read Helen Keller's autobiography If Give Me Three Days of Light, which deeply touched me.

If you give me three days of light, it mainly tells the rough life of Helen Keller, who is blind and deaf, and her mental journey. Her life was only 19 months of light and sound. With the help and care of Anne Sally and other teachers, and with the help of relatives and friends, Helen overcame difficulties that ordinary people could not imagine, completed her studies at Harvard University and obtained a bachelor's degree with excellent results. She has always been committed to the cause of the disabled, collecting money everywhere to improve their living environment and create educational opportunities for them. She has traveled around the world to cheer for the disabled. Finally, he became an outstanding philanthropist, speaker and educator.

There are only dull, silent and speechless lonely years in her world.

But she stubbornly believes that if I can see for three days-

On the first day, I will see those kind, gentle and touching people who encourage me to live through the "window of the soul".

the next day: I'm going to get up at dawn to see the moving miracle that night turns into day.

the third day: I will spend it in my current daily life, and experience their happiness, sadness, touch and kindness in the places where people who are busy with their lives often go.

A philosopher once said, "Courage resides in the soul, not in a strong body." This is a true portrayal of Helen. With a strong heart, Helen finally rose in the face of adversity. She is really physically and mentally disabled. As a new generation of college students, they have good living and learning conditions, but they lack perseverance. Therefore, the greatest inspiration from this article is:

1. To treat difficulties correctly, everyone will encounter difficulties in his life. When encountering difficulties, don't be afraid to retreat, but try your best to overcome them. The process of overcoming difficulties is also the process of your own progress.

second, try your best to finish everything. A famous person once said, "What is not easy? It is not easy to keep doing what should be done every day. What is not simple? It is not simple to do everything best. " Yes, it's really very difficult if you can do it according to the above. It is easy to do one thing for one day, and it is easy to do it for two days, but it is difficult to do it every day. Because this requires not only perseverance, but also perseverance. It is even more difficult to do everything best. Because this requires not only the above two points, but also a good habit of doing things carefully. If we can do these two things, we can make progress and improve in our daily life.

Third, we should have an optimistic attitude. In the face of great blows and difficulties, Helen did not complain about others, but faced them with an optimistic attitude to gain confidence. An optimistic attitude is one of the important factors of success.

The Journey to the West

The first time I saw The Journey to the West was when I was six years old. At that time, I just thought it was very beautiful. The characters in it were vivid and the plot was tortuous, which made me memorable. After reading The Journey to the West, I was ten years old. At that time, I was sensible, understood the truth in this story and appreciated this book more. The author of this book is Wu Cheng'en, a famous novelist in Ming Dynasty. In the book, the four apprentices, Tang Priest, the Monkey King, Pig Bajie and Friar Sand, have gone through many hardships and various tests, still persevered in the end, did not give in, fought bravely with monsters, and finally achieved the myth and legend of becoming a Buddha through eighty-one difficult. The Journey to the West made me feel the good and evil in the world, and the truth that success can only be achieved if I dare to struggle and persevere.

The four teachers and apprentices in the book have their own characteristics and skills, which adds some charm to this novel. Tang's monk is the most important character in this novel. He is timid and nagging, regardless of good and evil, but he is always kind, dedicated to the Buddha, and never gives up in the face of difficulties, becoming a meritorious Buddha. The Monkey King is an impatient and naughty person, but he is always loyal to his master. Even if he is driven away, he is very concerned about his master. He always comes back every time. He is brave and good at fighting, and he never flinches in the face of goblins, and eventually wins the battle against Buddha. Pig Bajie was originally a marshal of the canopy in the sky, but later he was demoted to the mortal world as a pig because of his sexual misconduct. He also followed the Tang Priest to learn Buddhist scriptures. On the way, he often said that he would go his separate ways, and he was always greedy for beauty and lazy to do it, but he never left his master. Although his martial arts was not as good as the Monkey King's, he was really a good apprentice and eventually became a net altar messenger. Friar Sand used to be a general in the rolling shutter in the sky, because he broke the sulfur glass lamp of the Queen Mother, and then he would make amends. He learned from the Tang Priest, and his kung fu was the worst of the three disciples, and he was also the only disciple who obeyed the master's words. However, his underwater kung fu was the best of the three disciples, and he also became a golden body arhat.

after reading this book, I really realized how difficult it was to succeed in one thing. It takes a lot of hard work and persistence. Only if you are willing to work hard, spend time and do it seriously, you will get twice the result with half the effort.
