Almond is a deciduous tree, belonging to Ulmus of Ulmaceae, also known as "Love Tree", and it is one of the oldest tree species in China.

Almond is a common arbor plant, which belongs to mango family. They can grow to 20 meters high, with large stems and leaves, leaves covered with brown fluff, and fruits with brown multi-chamber capsules.
