Why didn't he keep his integrity and ignore his reputation, causing a scandal of corruption and bribery? " Presumably, Sun Shunde, the eldest son, should be punished in prison, but Emperor Taizong thought twice and felt sorry for his contribution. Instead, he gave him dozens of silks in public in the palace to stimulate his remorse. Shao Qinghu of Dali Temple proposed to Taizong: "Shunde is greedy for money and perverts the law, and its sin is unforgivable. How can you give him silk? " Taizong replied: "People are spiritual. If you give him this silk, you might as well punish him. If he is not ashamed, he is like an animal. It's no use killing him. " In December of the first year of Zhenguan, Li Xiaochang rebelled, and Sun Qiang Shunde was implicated in his association with Li Xiaochang, and his original official position was cancelled.

In the second year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong looked at the portrait of the protagonist and saw the portrait of Shunde. Sad and pitying, he was sent to see Shunde, who was drunk and decadent. Some people say that he lived to the end. Soon, Emperor Taizong took Shunde, Sun Qiang as the secretariat of Zezhou, and restored his title and food city. Chang Shunde used to indulge himself and disobey the law. After re-taking office, put down your airs, do things seriously and be disciplined. It turned out that some officials accepted bribes from the people, and Sun Shunde chased them one by one, but none stayed, so he applauded the officials. Former secretaries Zhang Changgui and Zhao Shida both occupied dozens of hectares of fertile land in this county. Sun Qiang Shunde reported together to recover for poor farmers. Later, he was exempted from official duties for breaking the law. After Emperor Taizong fell ill, he felt despised when he heard the news. He said, "People like Shunde are not bold and upright, but they have children's feelings. Since they are ill, what qualifications do they have to say hello? " Soon, Shunde died, and Emperor Taizong no longer went to court for him. He sent a telegram of condolence and was posthumously awarded the secretariat of Jingzhou, posthumous title. In the thirteenth year of Zhenguan, it was changed to Pigong. The emblem has been restored to the third division of Kaifu Instrument for five years.
