Garlic is not meat.
Garlic is a vegetarian vegetable with a strong spicy garlic smell and is often used as a seasoning in cooking.
The edible part of garlic is its cloves, and a head of garlic has 4 to 15 cloves.
Garlic in my country is mainly distributed in Jinxiang County, Lanling County and Guangrao County in Shandong Province, Yongnian County in Hebei Province, Qixian County in Henan Province, Dafeng City in Northern Jiangsu Province, etc. It is one of the important crop varieties in my country. .
In recent years, my country has become the world's largest garlic growing and exporting country.
Garlic storage method
1. Hanging storage method: After the garlic is dried, remove the rotten or shrunken garlic heads and braid them.
Put it in a temporary drying shed, cold room or ventilated storage warehouse during summer and autumn. Avoid moisture and freezing in winter.
2. Cellar method: Choose a land with higher terrain, dry soil, thick soil, and low groundwater level to dig a cellar.
A ventilation channel should be installed in the cellar. Regular inspections should be carried out during the cellar to remove rotten or spoiled garlic at any time.
3. Cold storage storage method: Pre-cool the garlic before putting it into storage. When the temperature of the garlic is close to 0℃, it can be put into storage.
When storing, place garlic on a shelf to allow ventilation.
Depending on the packaging and stacking methods, the storage temperature can be controlled between -1~3℃
