One of our trips lasted 10 days, 4 of which were on the train.

If we are lucky and encounter a train that is only a little slower but much cheaper, we will choose the train.

Although trains are more expensive than trains, they are much faster and can be considered a very compromise choice.

Another important thing is: you must choose in advance!

Especially if you have to fly when traveling far away, you must buy tickets in advance, otherwise the last-dated tickets will be very expensive!

If you must fly, it is recommended to make sure you buy your tickets at the right time!

The first tip: It’s better to be one week in advance than one month in advance!

It’s best to buy your flight tickets one week in advance!

Going too early or too late will not be very cost-effective and may even be more expensive.

2. How to choose a hotel.

When going out for fun, accommodation and travel expenses take up the bulk. Once the travel expenses are solved, we will solve the issue of accommodation expenses.

If you are going out alone, your first choice is definitely to stay in a youth hostel.

Because when staying in a youth hostel outside the peak season, the price per person is probably more than 50, and some even cost more than 20.

You can also meet many friends by staying in a youth hostel, and you may have special friends you can hang out with.

During the peak season, you can even choose a youth hostel. During the May Day holiday, many hotels in Dalian have increased the price to more than 500. During the holiday period, the price of hotels usually exceeds 100 or even more than 1,000. It is not cost-effective to travel alone or with two people. I

In the end, I chose a youth hostel, which cost more than 140 for two nights. It was very clean and had breakfast.

I also met a lot of like-minded people!

I originally planned to travel alone for three days, but I was very happy to go with my traveling companion on the last day.

In addition to resting in the hotel, there are also transfers and high-speed trains that are very early the next day. I usually choose a hotel next to the station that costs around 50 a night to rest and have a light sleep. Because the high-speed train is very early, it is difficult to go back after playing in the evening.

It's late and I can't sleep well in the first place, so don't waste too much money on it.

The same goes for hotel selections, so pay attention to the reviews.

Then it is best to buy in advance. Whether it is the peak tourist season or ordinary travel days, it is recommended to buy in advance!

Otherwise it is easy to buy very expensive air tickets.

If the flight is very early, I usually choose to stay overnight at the airport.

Because the security check process is complicated, you have to arrive at least an hour in advance to ensure the best safety, and sometimes if there is a problem with your luggage, you have to unpack it for inspection, and you may miss your flight if you are not careful.

The compensation amount for the flight should be very high. Even if you have to pay the compensation, you still have to change the flight.

And many airports allow overnight stays. The last time I went back to school from Guangzhou was a flight after 6 am.

So I spent the night at the airport and slept in a massage chair for a few hours.

3. Eat.

My suggestion is: try to eat as few main meals as possible, unless it is a local specialty, such as hot pot skewers in Chengdu and Chongqing, it is best not to eat the main meal, because the real local taste must be some snacks and some small restaurants.

Most areas are operated commercially, so many famous local snacks may be bought by outsiders, which are not only expensive but also authentic.

So we try to choose a fly restaurant!

It’s really better to eat authentic local food!

Prepare some bread and milk in advance, especially when you spend the night at the airport or train station. Be sure to prepare yourself before going. The airport is usually very remote and there are few people and there are no convenience stores. The convenience stores inside are not delicious and expensive.

The snacks I bought at a convenience store when I stayed overnight at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport last time were too expensive or not delicious at all.

With these experiences, I always bring my own food when I go to the station.

Second point: Which places are suitable for budget travel?
