Is the transportation around Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications convenient? Are there any interesting places?

I am a senior at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. I have visited almost every amusement park and scenic spot in Nanjing during my four years at school.

When we were freshmen, we took the bus together in the dormitory to go to the surrounding scenic spots. A little further, if you go out of the south gate and take the subway, Xinjiekou is only 40 minutes away, and Hexi can be reached in less than an hour. You can do whatever you want!

The transportation is still very convenient.

Let me first tell you about the Xianlin Campus (after all, I am the most familiar with it).

1. North Gate of Xianlin Campus: Going out is Nanyou Plaza. There are many barbecue, fried skewers, milk tea and other shops, but not many entertainment items.

South Gate: Turn right when you go out. There are Golden Eagle Phase 1 and Phase 2. There are quite a lot of snacks, the restaurants in the mall are also high-end, and there are many things to play, such as cinemas, claw machines, etc., as well as Dacheng Famous Store.

There are also two large shopping malls under construction near Xianlin Center Subway Station.

Turn left when you go out and you will find Yangshan Lake Park. There are many people setting up tents for picnics. You can go there to relax on weekends.

East Gate: You can go out and eat in the cafeteria of Nanyang Institute of Technology. There is also a small lake in Nanyang Institute of Technology. It’s good to take a stroll after eating.

A little further away, you can go sightseeing at Nanjing University and experience the campus atmosphere of a top university. The glutinous rice soup tastes pretty good.

Second and Third Pailou Campus As for the Third Pailou Campus, it is located in the city center, with the bustling city at its doorstep.

It takes 20 minutes to walk to Lion Bridge and 30 minutes to Drum Tower. What you want to eat and play depends on the thickness of your wallet.

In particular, the roast duck at the entrance of Sanpailou campus is delicious (it shouldn’t be a problem for me to eat one per person).

Farther away are Wanda Mall in the southeast (about 10 minutes by taxi), Nanjing Normal University, Dongchenghui, Horizontal Square, Jiuxiao, etc. in Yadong New Town in the southwest (about 10 minutes by bike).

When the weather is fine, you can ride a bicycle to Qixia Mountain and climb a mountain to exercise.
