The World Expo is also a veritable food Expo. According to the official catering guide, the public catering area of the whole Expo site is 85,000 square meters, with about 128 restaurants providing more than 32,000 seats.

These restaurants are located in five major areas, offering Chinese and western food, light meals and fast food. Many of them are familiar restaurants, such as Chinese Wufangzhai, Zhiweiguan, Caidiexuan, Western fast food KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut and so on.

The dining center on the west side of Expo Axis in Pudong Expo Park is the largest dining spot in the park. The food and beverage center is equipped with China Food City, eight Chinese cuisines, alley customs, world food forest and other areas, which integrates the special food and beverage of various countries.

Some national pavilions also offer special catering as another option for tourists. For example, the French Pavilion, the restaurant named "The Sixth Sense", is run by Montpellier twins Porcel, providing authentic French cuisine and regional flavor.

Drinking water is very convenient. On March 30th, the first batch of direct drinking water meters were delivered in the Expo site. There are 102 drinking points in the four areas of A, B, C and D, and each drinking point has 8- 12 water outlets, which can be used by 1 172 people at the same time. During May 1 to1October 3 1, all direct drinking water equipment supplies water 15 hours a day.

In addition, there are about 8 1 franchise stores, 9 convenience stores and 6 pastry and bread retail stores in the park.
