Huang Yongyu, 1924, a native of Changde County, Hunan Province (now Dingcheng District, Changde City), was originally from Tuojiang Town, Fenghuang County, Hunan Province. Tujia people. The pen names are Huang Xingbing, Huang Niu and Niu Fuzi. Received primary school and unfinished junior high school education. Due to his poor family background, he went out to earn a living when he was 12 years old, and worked as a child laborer in small porcelain workshops in mountainous areas of Anhui and Fujian, and later moved to Shanghai, Taiwan Province Province and Hong Kong. /kloc-started publishing works when he was 0/4 years old, and later he focused on printmaking. His unique prints are well-known at home and abroad. At the age of sixteen, he began to make a living by painting vividly and woodcut. Huang Yongyu was assigned to the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 65438 to 0952 and served as the head of printmaking department. He has served as an associate professor and professor in the Academy of Fine Arts, and vice chairman and consultant of China Artists Association. Huang Yongyu Woodcut Collection was published in 1956, and its representative works "Spring Tide" and "Ashima" once caused a sensation in China painting circles. During the Cultural Revolution, the academic authority accused by the Gang of Four as reactionary was criticized. Later, he was brutally persecuted for drawing an owl in Beijing World Hotel and was sent back to his hometown of Phoenix. After smashing the Gang of Four, he returned to Beijing. Huang Yongyu is good at printmaking, focusing on Chinese painting. His paintings are unique in conception and profound in attainments. In 1978, The Times of England devoted six pages to Huang Yongyu and his paintings. 1980, Hong Kong Artists Publishing House published Huang Yongyu's Painting Collection. Many domestic publishing houses have successively published Huang Yongyu's Sketch of Xiangxi, The Scenery Never Returning and Huang Yongyu. CCTV's "Son of the East" column introduced his topic, and many domestic media also frequently broadcast his topic. His works have been exhibited in Germany, Norway, France, Japan and Southeast Asian countries, and won the Commander's Medal, Italy's highest honor award.

Huang Yongyu taught himself art and literature, and was a "genius" of a generation. He has made achievements in printmaking, Chinese painting, sculpture, literature, architecture and stamp design. There are strong western painting elements in painting without losing the charm of Chinese painting. He is also an excellent poet, and his folk oral style and simple poetic style are very unique and moving. His monkey tickets and wine packaging are well known. He has painted Ashima, Zodiac Stamp Monkey and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall Landscape Painting. He has held exhibitions in Australia, Germany, Italy, China and Hongkong, and won the Italian Commander-in-Chief Award for his artistic achievements. It enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. 1924 ——1937, a native of Changde, Hunan, returned to his hometown in Fenghuang with his parents half a year later. He returned to Beijing to teach in the printmaking department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and served as a lecturer, associate professor and professor in the printmaking department.
