I drove to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and found that the parking lot was already full of self-driving cars. Fortunately, in addition to the ground parking lot, the scenic area is also equipped with a two-story parking lot for tourists to use, so if it is not too late to go there, you can park your car.
Not a big problem.
Xiaoqikong is a seven-hole bridge in Libo County, Guizhou Province. In ancient times, it was the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi. In fact, the scenery of Xiaoqikong is not special. Instead, it is like other scenery in the scenic spot.
People are pleasantly surprised.
First of all, there is the two-story parking lot and the unfinished ticket hall, which gives people a high-end feeling as soon as they enter.
The scenic area is 38 kilometers in total. It is difficult to visit all the scenic spots on your own feet in such a hot summer (of course there are brave tourists), so it is necessary to buy sightseeing tickets for the scenic area. According to the arrangement of the scenic area, after tourists purchase the tickets, they will wait for the bus
Line up to board the bus in an orderly manner.
The first scenic spot we arrived at was Wolong Pond. Before we even arrived, the roaring sound had already attracted our footsteps and eyes quickly.
This is the first time we have seen such a large waterfall. The waterfall cascading down is not only spectacular with the white water curtain, but also the huge sound of the water hitting the stones, with a male power, which makes people's nerves suddenly go up.
Get excited.
There is a giant salamander exhibition opposite Wolong Lake. After entering, I discovered that there were only two giant salamanders lying quietly in the water. Fortunately, I didn’t need to buy a ticket. Later I found out that Wal-Mart in Guiyang also sells giant salamanders for 168 yuan per pound.
After coming out of Wolongtan, we continued to line up to get on the bus and arrived at another scenic spot - Yuanyang Lake.
The surrounding areas of the lake are undeveloped, and only by boating into the lake can you appreciate the beauty of the lake and surrounding environment.
It was my first time rowing a boat. I was holding the oar and rowing the wrong way. The boat could spin around in circles. I finally managed to get out, but it soon hit the side again. Fortunately, there were bushes on the side.
Push it with the oar, and the boat comes out again.
Many people were rowing on the lake, some rowing silently and admiring the beautiful scenery around them, while others shouted slogans in unison. The boat passed us quickly, and we couldn't help singing the song "Let's Swing the Oars" loudly.
According to reports, the lake is 38 meters deep and has a constant temperature all year round. I felt it with my hands and found that it was so cold that I couldn’t stand it for a while.
The next stop at Yuanyang Lake is Cuigu Waterfall.
On the way here, I have already seen the beauty of Cuigu Waterfall from a distance. Now, standing at the foot of the waterfall, I have another feeling.
When I was a child, there was a photo of Cuigu Falls on the wall calendar at home. Now, more than 30 years later, I am immersed in the scene. Green mountains, green water, and the Milky Way are all still the same. I can't help but sigh for the rich gifts that nature has given to mankind.
When we first arrived at Cuigu Waterfall, the sun was still shining brightly, making us unable to open our eyes. Soon after, it started to rain heavily. Cuigu Waterfall in the rain was a different scene. Suddenly, I thought, when will Cuigu Waterfall be there?
There are no tourists. Wouldn’t Cuigu Waterfall be a little lonely without tourists?
Depending on the situation, there will be waves of tourists coming to accompany you every day. Cuigu Waterfall will never be lonely.
Coming out of Cuigu Waterfall, you will reach the water forest.
The water forest on a moonlit night must be a poetic scene of "the bright moon shining among the pines, and the clear spring flowing over the rocks." Unfortunately, not many people can appreciate this beautiful scenery on a moonlit night.
There is a coolness in the humid air in the forest, which is in sharp contrast to the hot temperature outside the forest. The children are playing with the gurgling water, and the plants standing in the water are just watching the noisy crowd quietly.
I like the flowing water here. Compared with the waterfalls I saw before, the flowing water here is more flexible and peaceful.
The scenic spot closed at half past five. It was already past five o'clock when we came out of the Water Forest. Perhaps because of the time, the car did not stop when passing Xiangshui Bridge and went directly to Xiaoqikong.
The waterfall on Xiangshui Bridge cascades down. It is said that there are 68 levels. Although I have not seen the waterfall of Xiangshui Bridge up close, it is already unforgettable if I pass by it in a hurry.
If Wolongtan and Cuigu Waterfalls are majestic and powerful, Xiangshuiqiao Waterfalls are more tranquil and relaxing, allowing them to enjoy themselves and not compete with the world.
There are not many surprises in Xiaoqikong. There are not many interested tourists. Most people just take photos and leave a souvenir of their "visit here".
The dinner that day was grilled fish with bean curd.
Tofu curd is what we often call tofu curd. The store said that the fish is a large seven-hole fish. I don’t know if it is true, but it is indeed very fresh. The grilled fish is charred on the outside and tender on the inside, plus strong seasoning and red spicy oil.
Coupled with the melt-in-your-mouth beancurd, our taste buds were aroused. The five of us finished a large plate of grilled fish with only a pile of dried chili peppers left.
Guizhou people like to eat Zheer root, whose scientific name is Houttuynia cordata. The taste is really not used to it, but Kuding tea is sweet in the mouth. After eating chili pepper, drinking tea can not only quench thirst and relieve spiciness, it is very delicious.
The night I came to Libo, I saw bayberry soup written all over the streets. I finally drank it today, Karst bayberry soup. It is said to be a very authentic bayberry soup in Libo. The store claims that the restaurant can accommodate 1,000 people for dining. Due to the hot weather,
Most of the diners were sitting on the road outside. I counted about thirty or forty people. Everyone had a cup of bayberry soup in front of them. They took a sip. It tasted the same as ordinary bayberry soup, but with more water.
It became a drink, and there was no special surprise. I don’t know if it was because my expectations were too high.
