Xining is located in the west of Qinghai Province, facing the vast Xue Hai, with extremely cold areas in the east, Tibetan areas in the south, Himalayas in the west and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north. Tang Road is an important traffic artery in ancient China, starting from Xining and ending in Dunhuang. Tangdao mainly passes through Qinghai Province, Gansu Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a total length of about 2,500 kilometers. Tang Road is an important part of the ancient Silk Road in China and one of the important traffic arteries in the ancient western regions of China.
