Daming Lake

4A scenic spot? Daming Lake Park is located at No. 271 Daming Lake Road, Jilixia District, Jinan City. It is very large, accounting for almost a quarter of the old city. Daming Lake Park has a long history and beautiful scenery, with willow shades and lotus ponds, dotted with various pavilions, terraces, buildings and pavilions. The distant mountains, near water and clear sky blend into one color, like a huge colorful picture. The scenery of Daming Lake changes with the four seasons, especially in autumn when the sky is high and the air is crisp, it is the most pleasant. Du Fu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, visited Jinan twice and had banquets with calligrapher Li Yong at Lixia Pavilion. The poem "This pavilion on the right side of the sea is ancient, and there are many famous people in Jinan" was left behind. Tie Bao, a calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty, also left a famous saying: "Surrounded by lotuses and three by willows, one city of Daming Lake is surrounded by mountains and half of it is a lake." Quancheng Square

Quancheng Square is No. 69, Luoyuan Street, the central square of Jinan, the provincial capital. It is located in the embrace of mountains, springs, rivers and the city. Looking around, you can see the ancient and new appearance of the old city to the north, the gurgling Baotu Spring to the west, the green and rolling Qianfo Mountain to the south, and the Jiefang Pavilion to the east, which is elegant and picturesque. It is a resort for citizens to rest and linger. From west to east, the main components are: Baotu Spring Square, Jinan Mingshilin, Quanbiao Square, Sunken Square, Summer Palace and Children's Paradise, Riverside Square, Lotus Musical Fountain, Four Seasons Garden, Cultural Corridor, Science and Technology Cultural Center and Ginza Shopping mall and more than ten parts. Quancheng Square is the first and currently the only square in China to be awarded the title of "International Art Square" by UNESCO. The design uses the edge line running through Baotu Spring and Jiefang Pavilion as the main axis, and the continuation of Bangpeng Street and Shuowen Road as the secondary axis to form a frame. Each functional area is organized around the axis from west to east.

Baotu Spring

Baotu Spring is the main scenery in the park. Today, there is the Song Dynasty building "Luoyuan Hall" (now rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty) to the north of the Baotu Spring. The hall Hanging on the pillars on both sides are the couplets "The clouds moisten the steam, but the sound of the waves shakes the Daming Lake"; in the southwest there is the Ming Dynasty building "Guanlan Pavilion", and the stone tablet standing in the water in front of the pavilion has the words "Baotu Spring" written on it, which is the name of the Ming Dynasty. Calligrapher Hu Zuanzong wrote that the east of the pond is "Laihe Bridge". At the south end of the bridge stands an antique wooden archway with the words "Dongtian Blessed Land" and "Pengshan Old Relics" on the banner. Baotu Spring Baotu Spring water gushes out from an underground limestone cave. Its maximum inflow reaches 240,000 cubic meters per day, and its exposure altitude reaches 26.49 meters. The water is crystal clear, mellow and sweet, with extremely low bacterial content. After testing, it meets the national drinking water standards. It is ideal natural drinking water and can be drank directly.
