It is the first university in China and Macau to obtain AACSB and AMBA certification. The University of Macau in China, formerly known as East Asia University, was established on March 28th, 198 1. It changed from private to public, and was renamed the University of Macau, China. August 20 14, officially moved into the new campus located in Qinhengdao, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province.
