Shanxia Village is located in the northeast corner of Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport, covering an area of about 4 square kilometers. It has 15 villagers' groups with a total population of more than 4,700.

In 2006, in order to meet the needs of FedEx Asia-Pacific transshipment center construction, the Ninth Economic Society of Shanxia Village moved to the FedEx resettlement area of Baoliang Village in this town as a whole. After two times of land acquisition and demolition, Shanxia village has now formed a special position of being under the jurisdiction of an administrative village and living and living in three places. At present, there are still 1 1 villagers' groups living in Yuanshanxia Village, with a permanent population of about 3,700. The life of the villagers is mainly about going out to work, doing business and planting cash crops, as well as private enterprises such as Taichang Rubber and Shuguang Rubber. There are six, seven or eight economic clubs in Sandong 'an District, with a permanent population of about 900 people. Since the three economic clubs in Sandong 'an District are all land-lost economic clubs, after the relocation, more than 20 large and small enterprises were successfully introduced with the strong investment attraction of village and community cadres, and the villagers lived and worked in peace and contentment. Baoliang resettlement area has only the Ninth Economic Society with a population of about 190. Due to the late relocation, the land reserved for the economic society has not been developed, and the villagers' lives are mainly based on going out to work, doing business and paying dividends to the economic society. Shanxia Village has a long history and outstanding people. In September, 2005, Quanjian Pangong Temple (including Sanjitang Hakka dwellings) located in Sanjitang Natural Village was registered as a cultural relic protection unit in Guangzhou. Quanjian Pangong Temple was built in the 14th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1888), with a history of more than 120 years, with a construction area of about 930 square meters. It was built in 6544 with the donation of enthusiastic rural sages in this village.

Shanxia Village is adjacent to Qizhuang Village, Jiuyi Village, Yong Guang Village, Tianhe Village, Jiuhu Village, Datang Village, Sanfeng Village, Fenghuang Village, Gao Xi Village, Li Xi Village, Shijiao Village, Fenggang Village, Nanxi Village and Baoliang Village.

On September 1 day, 2020, Ali Research Institute announced Taobao Village in 2020, and Shanxia Village was on the list.

Sanjitang ancient buildings
