Today I will share with you several side dishes made with baby cabbage, all of which are very delicious.
Baby cabbage and Chinese cabbage are "blood brothers" and belong to the same species and family.
It’s just that we only introduced baby cabbage from Japan in recent years.
Baby cabbage has the characteristics of thin, sweet taste, short plants, easy to make, etc. It also contains selenium, chlorophyll, and vitamins with high nutritional value.
2. The dishes I share with you are "Baby Cabbage with Sauce".
The sauce is not Northeastern soybean paste, nor is it a seasoning with a strong flavor such as sweet noodle sauce.
We make it with tahini.
First prepare the ingredients: 2 baby cabbage, sesame paste, light soy sauce, Laoganma, xianjiao, Chaotian pepper.
Preparation method: First, drain the sesame paste with water and add light soy sauce to taste.
Break apart the baby cabbage, wash and cut into thin strips.
Chop the line pepper and Chaotian pepper into pieces, pour the prepared sesame sauce over the baby cabbage and mix well, then add Laoganma, mix well and put it on a plate, then top with the chopped pepper.
A very refreshing and slightly spicy cold dish is ready.
3. Ingredients required for garlic vermicelli and baby cabbage: baby cabbage, garlic, vermicelli, light soy sauce, salad oil, green and red peppers.
Method: Wash the baby cabbage and cut it into 6 pieces vertically and place it on a plate. Try to choose a deeper plate instead of a flat plate.
Soak the vermicelli in boiling water until soft and place it on baby cabbage.
Add water to the pot and bring to a boil. Steam the baby cabbage and vermicelli for about 5 minutes until cooked and season with light soy sauce.
Cut the garlic into minced garlic. It is easier to chop the garlic first and then mince it. Remove the ribs from the green and red bell pepper slices and then cut them into small cubes. Put the minced garlic and green and red pepper cubes on the vermicelli and add a little salad oil.

4. Griddle baby cabbage: Prepare ingredients: baby cabbage, parsley, bell pepper, string pepper, bacon, cooked sesame seeds, green onions, ginger, bean paste, salt and MSG.
Method: Wash the baby cabbage and cut it vertically into 8 pieces, wash the parsley and cut it into sections, cut the pepper into oblique blades, and cut the bacon into slices. If there is no bacon, you can replace it with pork belly.
Heat oil in a pot, add bacon, chopped green onion, ginger slices, string pepper, and bell pepper and stir-fry until fragrant.
Then add the watercress and stir-fry evenly. Finally, add the baby cabbage and parsley segments and stir-fry until cooked. Stir-fry over medium heat to avoid burning.
