Zhucheng in Xinzhou City on the Jushui River is the seat of ancient Zhucheng. BC 1066, the King of Wu attacked Zhou, making great contributions to the King of Wu's "pursuit of victory", and conferred the title of Zhu Weiguo. From Sui Dynasty to the end of Tang Dynasty, it was the office of Huangzhou government. From two to four years in Tang Huichang, the poet Du Mu was appointed as the secretariat of Huangzhou.
In recent years, Zhucheng Street has adhered to the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development and made overall plans for urban and rural development. Six industries, including vegetables, livestock and poultry, aquatic products, fruits, edible fungi and fresh food, have been formed, and there are 14 private enterprises above designated size, involving five industries: machinery manufacturing, hardware processing, garment processing, rubber chemical industry and building materials. The backbone enterprises are New Century Group, Xinjia Company and Evergrande. It has won the honorary titles of "Civilized Town" in Hubei Province, "Civilized Street in Wuhan" and "Top Ten Streets in Wuhan Enterprises".
