There are many tourist attractions in Yunnan, each with its own characteristics. Honghe Prefecture is home to many natural and cultural attractions, such as Jianshui, the ancient city of Lin'an, Hani terraces in Yuanyang, and Bisezhai Station of China's first-generation railway Yunnan-Yuezhou Line.
, Mengzi, where the university moved westward during the Anti-Japanese War, Mile Yi County, Hekou across the river from Vietnam, etc., are all worth arranging time to visit.
My personal favorite place is Jianshui.
Jianshui was called Lin'an in ancient times. There was a city in the Nanzhao period of the Tang Dynasty, and it was renamed Lin'an in the Ming Dynasty.
The first time I went to Jianshui, I was attracted by the Chaoyang Tower outside the ancient city of Jianshui. It is simply a replica of Tiananmen. The locals said that the Chaoyang Tower was built in the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, so it has been more than 600 years ago.
Hanlin Street in the ancient city is a well-preserved ancient street from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are many ancient building complexes left behind, such as Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, Shuanglong Bridge, Tuanshan Village and other ancient building complexes. Staying in Jianshui's time is like traveling through time.
See stories from the past.
There is another unique thing in Jianshui, that is, Jianshui purple pottery, which originated in the Song Dynasty more than 900 years ago. Purple pottery was officially fired from the Ming Dynasty, and is similar to Jiangsu Yixing purple sand pottery, Guangxi Qinzhou Nixing pottery, Sichuan
Rongchang Antao is also known as China's Four Famous Potteries. Jianshui, a small county town, also has many purple pottery artists. When I went there for the second time last year, a ceramics market had been set up in the city, which was worth a visit.
In addition, I will never forget the snacks and delicacies of Jianshui, such as iced papaya water and grass sprout rice noodles. The grass sprouts are unique to Jianshui. Outside of Jianshui, there is no sweet and refreshing fresh grass sprouts.
It should be the Yuanyang Rice Terraces, a world-class cultural heritage, which is the crystallization of natural geographical conditions and the wisdom of the working people passed down from generation to generation by the Hani people.
Due to its special geographical location, Yuanyang Rice Terraces are often shrouded in heavy fog, which also brings a mysterious color to this magical land.
In Yuanyang Rice Terraces, the best place to watch the sunrise is the famous Duoyishu Scenic Area.
Captured with a thirty second exposure while the sun was still below the horizon.
It is an exciting thing to see the sunrise in Duoyishu Scenic Area.
The ever-changing sky scene and the reflected colors of the terraces are dizzying.
Sometimes, the scene in front of you will be obscured by clouds and mist.
The transformation of the picture is majestic and shocking.
Laohuzui Scenic Area is an ideal place to watch the sunset, and is often filled with heavy fog.
A gust of wind blows, and the picture of the terraced fields is clearly presented in front of you in an instant.
It was instantly obscured by clouds and fog.
Looking at the houses on the hillside from a distance, they seem to be places where gods live.
This magical scenery makes people linger. Everyone leaves with excitement and wonder, and looks forward to coming back next time with unfinished feelings.
