On March 27, Sichuan Airlines Co., Ltd. settled in Mianyang and the first flight ceremony of the new route was held at Mianyang Airport.

In 2012, Mianyang Nanjiao Airport established a Guangzhou-Shenzhen office in Shenzhen and a Shanghai-Nanjing office in Nanjing.

In 2013, Mianyang Nanjiao Airport established an office in Beijing.
