Shunde, located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta, is one of the five administrative divisions of Foshan. It borders Guangzhou in the north and Hong Kong and Macao in the south, covering an area of 806 square kilometers, and is adjacent to Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. Shunde ranks first in the top 100 national comprehensive strength zones for 10 consecutive years, and has been selected as one of the "Top 10 Demonstration Counties and Cities with Comprehensive Well-off Society in China" for 12 consecutive years, ranking first in the top 100 national green development zones.
