Every Spring Festival in Tengzhou, there will be all kinds of delicious food: dumplings, glutinous rice balls, braised pork and so on.
Among so many delicacies, my favorite is a food called spring rolls.
Spring rolls, also known as spring cakes and pancakes, are traditional foods for Han folk festivals.
Today, my mother is going to teach me how to make spring rolls.
Started making spring rolls.
I saw my mother take out a spring roll wrapper, use chopsticks to wrap the mixed meat filling on the spring roll wrapper, then fold the spring roll wrapper in half horizontally, then fold the two vertical sides inward a little, and finally continue to fold the rest horizontally
After partially folding, a spring roll is completed.
I tried it. First, I wrapped the spring roll wrapper with meat filling. This step went very smoothly.
Next, I started folding, "I folded half inward, folded a little on both sides, and folded them all. It's done!" When I was about to show the newly made spring rolls to my mother, suddenly, the skin of the spring rolls broke, revealing the shiny hair.
Bright meat filling.
My mother said at this time: "You put too much stuffing, put less." I tried it, and sure enough, after removing one-half of the meat, the spring rolls were wrapped.
After wrapping the spring rolls, it's time to fry them.
Mom put some oil, and when the oil was hot, she started to put the spring rolls.
As soon as I put the spring rolls on, I heard a "cracking" sound, like the sound of lighting a firework fuse.
In less than a minute, there was only a little white left on the spring rolls. After waiting for a while, the spring rolls were all yellow.
Just as I was getting ready to taste one with my chopsticks, my mother stopped me and told me: "Now the outside of the spring rolls is yellow, but the filling inside is not yet cooked. Please wait." After waiting for a while, the fragrant spring rolls finally came out.
Pot.
The freshly baked spring rolls are golden all over and exude a fragrant aroma that makes people want to stop eating.
