There is always an inseparable concern for my hometown.

I like to sit alone indoors on quiet nights, looking for a simple, warm and natural hometown in the depths of my memory.

When I think of my hometown, I think of Bangshe Turtle, which is full of local flavor.

Bangshe Turtle is a traditional dessert in our hometown. It has a unique flavor, sweetness, tenderness and freshness. It is one of the delicacies that is hard to find in other places.

It has a history of more than 200 years and has always enjoyed a high reputation among overseas Chinese in southern Fujian and Southeast Asia.

Whenever there is a happy event in the village and a banquet is held for guests, after the soup is served, a plate full of bangshe turtles is served, along with peanut soup and white fungus soup. This sweet dish is used as the base of the banquet; or children

On full moon days, birthdays, and birthday celebrations for the elderly, housewives will carry a basket of bangshe turtles and happily distribute them to relatives and friends to express happiness and good luck or to pray for longevity.

The harmony, harmony, closeness and trust among neighbors naturally blend into everyone's heart.

When I was a child, my favorite thing was to celebrate festivals or birthday celebrations for the elderly in the village. My father would always leave the few bangshe turtles to me to eat.

At that time, biting into the shiny, tough and tender Bangshe turtles, with a hint of the fragrance of glutinous rice, mung beans and kumquats in my mouth, I felt it was a wonderful enjoyment.

Now that I live in the city, whenever I go back to my hometown, my father will ask me to bring some back and share them with my colleagues.

Now when I taste Bangshe Turtle, it is the same sweet and smooth taste, but I have a different feeling.

The smell of Bangshe Turtle is like a flower in bud that slowly releases its charming fragrance, making people intoxicated and nostalgic.

I deeply feel the fragrance and warmth of nostalgia and family affection!

Many things, many things, maybe because they are too common, we may not pay much attention to them, but inadvertently, they give you unexpected happiness and satisfaction.

Just like the smell of Bangshe Turtle, it gives me a fresh and happy feeling that I have never had before!

I often wonder if living in the city for a long time, the usual indifference and numb expressions in the city, have activated my longing for something in my hometown, and activated the fragrance of Bangshe Turtle in my hometown in my memory.

It reminds me of the happy time of simplicity, kindness, harmony and tolerance I spent in my hometown, just like the cool breeze on a summer night in the countryside, refreshing and pleasant.
