Feng has a high cultural accomplishment. He carved many books during his tenure as the supervisor of Sili, such as Enlightenment Collection, Four Books, Book Classics, Tongjian Zhijie, Emperor Jiantu Shuo, and Book Classics Yinshi, which were still circulated in the palace until the Chongzhen period. His calligraphy is quite good, he is good at playing the piano, and he has made many pianos, which are "loved by the world" (Volume 5). Zhang Juzheng, his political ally, commented on him: "Diligent and diligent, he has long been known to Su Zu, and (Sejong) often listens to it as" writing in big letters "without being famous."
