The guru said: If the intention is correct, there is no problem in providing food and cigarettes regardless of gender, so you can do it with confidence. Of course, the heart should be right. There are several meanings here. First, we must have four boundless hearts, and we must be kind, sad, happy and equal. If you hate the devil, hate and fear them, and think that the undead and the bardo are more pitiful, it is not equal to compassion. The second is confidence and sincerity. We must firmly believe that with the help of the guru Sambo, we will certainly benefit them, and then we will sincerely practice Buddhism for them and return to Buddhism like Buddhism. I hope they all die in bliss and get Buddha fruit, but there is no great merit in giving food and cigarettes. Therefore, I must adhere to the idea of self-interest. If you have such an idea, some ghosts and gods will be unhappy and will not get any benefits.
In order to subdue the devil, achievers may sometimes use punishment or anger, but this only applies to those who practice successfully. That is to say, if you have the ability to let the devil die in Elysium or the pure land of other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, that's fine, but many of us don't have this ability yet, so we should make more cigarette offerings with the right intention. I think this is very important. It can not only cultivate sympathy and joy, but also remove obstacles against fate, settle many grievances and accumulate a lot of food.
In Tibet, I also taught everyone to have bodhicitta and do more good deeds, such as offering cigarettes, to remove obstacles against fate. Giving in Tibet is very convenient. We often burn butter, cheese, Ciba and other things and give them to six sentient beings. It is very beneficial to do this often, not only for the parties concerned, but also for unjust creditors and demons, so it is very, very good for Bodhisattva to do this kind of charity often. In Tibet, in some places, many families actively give alms, and the whole village is very good. It rains where it doesn't rain, or grows where it doesn't grow, and grows where it doesn't grow. The result is very, very satisfactory. As for the Han Dynasty, you can smoke cigarettes with more incense and compassion, which is similar and good for all other creatures.
Bodhisattva sincerely hopes that all beings are good, and that all beings will become Buddhas successfully, instead of hoping that this is good and that is not good. This is equal compassion. Therefore, on the basis of correct motivation, everyone can think more about transformation and do more charity, such as providing cigarettes and releasing them, so as to benefit themselves a lot. It is precisely because of this that I have been asking everyone to make more cigarettes, both men and women, and I hope everyone will continue to do more. If the temporary conditions are not sufficient, it is ok to interrupt the supply of cigarettes. Don't worry about anything.
