Butter softens at room temperature.

Tips:
1. The prepared ice-covered moon cakes are wrapped in plastic wrap or packed in a box, and eaten in the refrigerator for one night, which tastes better.
2. Add sugar to the milk and mix well. Heat over low heat until the sugar dissolves. When the milk is about to boil, stay away from the fire. This heating step is very important. When I first cooked it, the milk was not heated and the sugar was not completely dissolved. Moreover, the glutinous rice flour added in the later stage is not easy to dissolve with corn flour, and the steamed finished product is not smooth. Add salad oil and stir well.
