Xiong'an new area covers an area of about 2000 square kilometers. Xiong'an new area is a state-level new district under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, located in the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, the middle of Jizhong Plain, the south bank of the lower reaches of South Juma River, and on the alluvial fan of Daqing River system, belonging to the transitional zone from Taihang Mountain Plain to alluvial plain. It has a warm temperate monsoon continental climate with four distinct seasons.

Xiong'an new area is located in the middle of Hebei Province, in the hinterland of Beijing-Tianjin-Baoding, bordering Gu 'an County, Bazhou County and Wen 'an County of Langfang City in the east, Qingyuan District and Xushui District of Baoding City in the west, Gaoyang County and Renqiu City in the south and Dingxing County and Gaobeidian City in the north. The initial area is about 100 km2, the medium-term development area is about 200 km2, and the long-term control area is about 200 km2.

Among the delicacies in xiong'an new area, there are frozen fish scales, fish stewed in iron pot on the stove, smoked fish and river crabs, with the characteristics of Baiyangdian red heart and old salted eggs, shrimp paste cakes, fried thousand seeds and fried fish fillets, and the flavors of fried lotus, fried lotus root clips, cold lotus leaf buds and Rongcheng green asparagus.
