Cold rock is also called "cold cave". It is15m high, 48m wide and 78m deep. Its old name was Daishi Cave. Mi Fei, a great calligrapher in the Song Dynasty, wrote the word "hidden truth" in the cave, so it was renamed "hidden truth cave". Hanshanzi, a recluse poet renowned at home and abroad in the Tang Dynasty, once lived here for a long time, and there was a site of Han Yan Temple in front of the cave. There are "turtles" and "snakes" at the entrance to the cold rock, which are generated by natural rocks. Especially the stone snake as big as a thick pillar, it emerged from the ground and looked up at the sky, looking very much like it. There is a big stone at the mouth of the cave, named "Banquet Stone", where Hanshanzi sits.
