Cuojie, a new scenic spot around Hefei.

CuO Town is located in Feidong County, Hefei City, and its name is said to come from Confucius, a great educator. According to relevant records, Confucius once passed here when he traveled around the world; While driving, I suddenly found a group of children playing in the middle of the road. Confucius asked to stop and wanted to know the name of the place. The children stopped playing and looked at Confucius, but could not answer the name of the place. Confucius then asked them what they were playing, and the children immediately replied that they were playing a game of building a city with ashes. Confucius looked up at the town in front of him with interest and said, It should be called Cuo Town.

Cuozhen Town belongs to Feidong County administratively, but it is not far from the center of Hefei. It only takes about 2 minutes to drive from the viaduct. In the west of Cuozhen Town, separated from Cuozhen Town by water, there is a newly-built scenic spot with a small area called Cuojie Street, which was officially opened to the public recently.

Cuo Street is characterized by a two-story building, with gray bricks and blue tiles, extending from north to south, and then turning at a right angle to the east.

The main street of Cuojie is about 15 meters long and 3 meters wide, and there are more than a dozen famous snack bars on both sides, such as Xiatangji sesame seed cake, Huainan beef soup, Yunnan crock rice noodle, Chongqing Liu Yishou hot pot, Wu Shan Gong goose, etc. Besides, there are Hefei Cuisine Museum, Qunar Travel Agency and Cuozhen historical and cultural education base. There is a tall gatehouse at the corner of the main street. The wall is made of huge retro bricks, and the roof is covered with retro tiles, which looks quite majestic. There is an objective square in front of the building door, and a row of ground fountains are arranged beside the square.

The tallest building in Cuo Street is its stupa, which is located at the northern end of Cuo Street. Every night arrival, dozens of lights will be lit up on the Buddha's platform, which makes the street unique. Therefore, nearby residents will also come to Cuo Street in the evening. According to them, they just come for a walk, go shopping and see the Buddhist pagodas with peaceful lights.

If you stroll from south to north along the cluster of streets, bypassing the stupa all the way, there is also a children's paradise exposed in front of you. There are slides, swings, rocking cars, and trampolines that have just been built. Usually there are not many tourists here, but every weekend, many children come to play.

If you just go shopping and taste snacks, you won't find it much fun. After all, there are more famous Qie Street, Banbian Street and Hong Street in Hefei, where the buildings are also distinctive, more popular and there is no shortage of snacks.

The biggest advantage of Cuo Street is not its street surface, but the long bay lake behind it. Although Gui Street, Banbian Street and Hong Street are all good, none of them are built by the water.

Nawan Lake, which is adjacent to Cuo Street, extends from south to north. The lake is not wide, but it is deep, with a total length of nearly one kilometer. On both sides of the lake, in addition to cement roads, there are wooden plank roads, which are convenient for tourists to stroll or enjoy the scenery by the lake after visiting the streets.

not only that, if you think the lake behind Cuojie is not wide enough, you can walk a few more steps to the Dianbu River, which is separated from the lake all the way. Not only is the water there wide, but you can also walk along the riverbank, and you can see anglers in twos and threes, and experience a leisurely and leisurely return to nature.
