Zigong, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, is located in the southern part of the Sichuan Basin, bordering Longchang City and Lu County to the east, Luzhou City and Yibin City to the south, Jianwei County and Jingyan County to the west, and Renshou County and Renshou County to the north. The geotectonic system of Weiyuan County and Neijiang City is located in the Sichuan Tai Ao, Central Sichuan Tai Gong, and Zigong Sag in the Yangzihuai region; they have a subtropical humid monsoon climate.

Introduction

Zigong "sets up the city because of salt", and the two words "Zigong" and "Gong" come from the names of the two salt wells "Ziliujing" and "Gongjing".
