It is listed in the World Cultural Heritage List and can be called a classic of private gardens in China. Built in Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty, this garden covers an area of about 83.5 mu, with an open area of about 73 mu. Among them, the central and western part of the garden and the Zhang Zhiwan residence in the late Qing Dynasty (now the old Suzhou Garden Museum) are the architectural garden heritage of the late Qing Dynasty, with an area of about 38 mu. One of China's four famous gardens, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a national special tourist attraction, is known as the "Mother of China Gardens" and was listed as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO in 1997.
Humble Administrator's Garden covers an area of 52, square meters and is divided into three parts: East Garden, Middle Garden and West Garden. The East Garden is interspersed with mountains and pools, dotted with buildings such as Xiang Xiang Hall and Lan Xuetang. In the west, the water surface is circuitous and the layout is compact, and pavilions are built by mountains and rivers. Among them, Yuanyang Hall, the main building, was the place where the owner of the park hosted guests and listened to music at that time, and the hall was well furnished. The Central Garden is the essence of the Humble Administrator's Garden, and its overall layout is centered on the pool. The pavilions and pavilions are all built near the water, and some pavilions are directly out of the water, which has the characteristics of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. Yuanxiangtang, the main building, is located on the south bank of the pool, facing the two mountain islands in the east and west of the main scenery. The water in the pool is clear and vast, with lotus flowers planted all over the island, and vines on the waterfront are everywhere. There is a small bridge between the two mountain valleys, and a pavilion is built on each island, with a snowy cloud pavilion in the west and a frost pavilion in the east. The scenery of the four seasons varies from time to time. "Yi Yu Xuan" in the west of Yuanxiangtang is far from its boat-shaped "Xiangzhou" in the west, and both of them form a tripartite confrontation with the "Lotus Wind Pavilion" in the north, and both of them can enjoy the lotus with the trend.

Introduction to Tiger Hill:
Tiger Hill, also known as "the first scenic spot in Wuzhong", is located in the northwest of Suzhou ancient city, 3.5 kilometers away from Changmen. Tiger Hill is 34.3 meters above sea level and covers an area of about 2 hectares. The mountain is rhyolite condensed from magma erupted in the Mesozoic Jurassic era 15 million years ago. The human history of Huqiu can be traced back to 2,5 years ago, as long as the ancient city of Suzhou. In ancient times, Tiger Hill was once a small island in the bay that appeared and disappeared with the tide. After vicissitudes of life, it finally emerged from the sea and became a hill isolated on the flat ground. People called it Haiyong Mountain. "When the sea coming? The thunderbolt broke through the earth's veins, cracked through thousands of miles, and cut the pale wall. " Zheng Sixiao, a poet of the Song Dynasty, vividly revealed the origin of Tiger Hill. Although Tiger Hill is far away from the sea now, people can still feel the trace and information of the sea.
a tiger hill has a history of nearly 2,5 years. In 496 BC, He Lv, the king of Wu, died of tetanus and was buried in this mountain. Three days after entering the cave, a white tiger crouched on the tomb, hence the name Tiger Hill. There are many places of interest in the park. Yunyan Temple Tower (also known as tiger hill) is a national cultural relic, and the Broken Beam Hall is a provincial cultural relic. In the middle of the beam, two beams are disconnected and connected, and the broken seam can be seen. Su Dongpo, a great writer in the Song Dynasty, said more than a thousand years ago that "it is a pity to go to Suzhou instead of visiting Tiger Hill". For thousands of years, Huqiu Mountain has enjoyed the reputation of "the first scenic spot in Wuzhong" with its beautiful scenery and long historical and cultural landscape.
On the stone wall due north of the Thousand-Man Stone, four characters are engraved: "Tiger Hill and Sword Pool", which is said to have been written by Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty. According to another legend, the word "Tiger Hill" is not the original book of Yan's, but was carved in a supplementary book by later generations, so there is a saying in the local area that it is "a real sword pool and a fake tiger hill". The so-called sword pool is a pool as narrow as a sword under the cliff. The tomb of He Lv, the king of Wu, may have been built here. According to legend, at that time, 3, fish intestine swords and other swords were used to bury the king of Wu, hence the name Jianchi. There is a stone well on the mountain, which is said to have been dug by Lu Yu in Tang Dynasty, and it is called "Lu Yu Well". Lu Yu is the author of Tea Classic, the first tea book in China. According to the Records of Suzhou Prefecture, Lu Yu once lived in Tiger Hill for a long time, studying tea and writing Tea Classics. He found Huqiu Spring sweet and delicious, and was rated as "the fifth spring in the world".
Hanshan Temple
Before the Hanshan Temple stands like a barrier in front of the mountain gate, it stands facing the river to the west, with ridges and eaves on it, decorated with Youlong, with extraordinary momentum. There are three bluestones embedded in the yellow wall, and the words "Hanshan Temple" are engraved on it. The iron is drawn with a silver hook, and the brushwork is majestic. The department is "East Lake Pottery? F Xuan Shu ".
Hanshan Temple is located in the southwest of Shilifeng Bridge outside the west of Suzhou City. East facing west, facing the ancient canal, the old Linguan Road now belongs to Fengqiao Town, Jinchang District, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. According to legend, Hanshan Temple was built in the Tianjian period of Liang Wudi (52-59 AD), and the date of its beginning is unknown. The first name is "Miaoliping Mingta Courtyard". (It first appeared in Wu Jun Tu Jing, and then Wu Jun Zhi, Gu Su Zhi, Bai Cheng Yan Shui and Suzhou Fu Zhi all followed its theory to this day. )
in the past, the Buddhist pagoda was the main building, but in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, it was gradually centered on the Buddhist temple, behind the pagoda or behind the temple. Tower, translated by Tang Dynasty? @ Blocking Slope or Tappo is actually the tomb of ancient India, which Buddhists used to worship the Buddha's relics, and then it was the object of worship by Buddhists. There are five kinds of Buddhist pagodas in China, namely wooden pagodas (or pavilion pagodas), tomb pagodas, dense eaves pagodas, Lama pagodas and King Kong throne pagodas. It can be roughly divided into two parts, namely, stupa and ancestor pagoda. Although many Buddhist temples in China are famous for their pagodas, such as Qita Temple, Baita Temple, Shuangta Temple, etc., no one is famous for its pagodas. The so-called pagodas are mostly ancestral pagodas, belonging to a Buddhist temple, such as Long Shao Pagoda in Huqiu, which belongs to Haiyong Temple in Huqiu. This proves that the so-called "Miaoliping Pagoda" is not an independent Buddhist temple, but a bone pagoda of Puming's ancestor. In general, the ancestral pagoda is only built with bricks or stone carvings on its tomb, which is similar to the stupa, as a sign, or a simple monk's house is built next to it for people to take care of incense. Commonly known as tower courtyard, that is, this kind of building. In 199, 5 arhats were successfully installed with gold. At this point, a 5 arhats statue, which was incomplete and uneven, was completely new and radiant after being renovated and installed with gold, bringing new atmosphere to the temple.

The layout of the retreat garden is unique, with pavilions, terraces, buildings, pavilions, corridors, squares, bridges, pavilions, halls, halls, rooms and pavilions, with the pool as the center and buildings floating on the water. The pattern is compact and natural, combined with plant configuration, embellishing the four seasons scenery, giving people a clear, quiet and clear feeling. The vertical direction of the building lattice is horizontal, from west to east, with residence in the west, court in the middle and garden in the east. The house is an outer house and an inner house, and the outer house has a sedan chair hall, a flower hall and a main hall. The car hall and flower hall are used for picking up passengers and parking cars. Its retreat garden is listed as a world cultural heritage.
2. Gufeng Garden is located in the east of Park Bridge, in Nanhao Lane, and separated from Tuisi Garden in the south, and is located in the original transistor factory. The museum is divided into three areas: hundred beds, woodcarving and antiques. The antique garden displays a wide variety of antiques, including porcelain, bronze, pearl jade, Four Treasures of the Study and purple sand. Every antique is marked with the age and name by experts from the Palace Museum. 3. Songshi Wuyuan, referred to as "Wuyuan" for short, is located at the Songping Stone Exhibition Hall in Tongli Town. It is located in Shipilong, Guzhen District, adjacent to the three bridges of Geely, Taiping and Changqing, separated from the Pearl Tower Scenic Area by a wall, and it is only a hundred steps from Fuguan Bridge to the south.
Jiayin Hall, located in Youjianongkou, Zhuxing Street, was built in the early years of the Republic of China, with four entrances, and its doors and windows are beautifully carved. The owner, Liu Bingnan, a native of Beishe, set up an oil mill before Luxu, and then moved to Tongli to build a mansion, which cost twenty-two thousand silver. With the famous patriotic poet Mr. Liu Yazi. The main building of Jiayin Hall is an imitation of the Ming Dynasty structure, commonly known as "Shamao Hall".
4. Chongben Hall is located in the north of Changqing Bridge in Fuguan Street, facing south and built by water, facing Jiayin Hall across the river in the east and connected with Changqing Bridge in the west. The neat stone revetment guards this quaint mansion. If Tongli is compared to a museum of ancient buildings, then Chongben Hall is an exquisitely carved work of art in this museum, and its exquisite skills and profound connotation have amazed every visitor.
5. Gengle Hall, located in Xiliuwei, in the middle of Lujiadai, facing the east river, was built by Zhu Xiang, Chu Shi in the Ming Dynasty, and was written by Mo Dan, then a native of Xuezhengli, imperial academy, Nanjing. Zhu Xiang, the word Tingrui,no. Gengle. The name of the hall takes its number.
The streets in Tongli are ancient. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the southeast of the ancient town was a residential area. Here, "there are more than a thousand residents in five miles", the residential buildings with winding streets, dense rooms, high walls and deep courtyards cast a faint and deep mystery on the old street. There are many bridges and rivers in Tongli, an ancient town. Because of water, it becomes a street, and because of water, it becomes a city. The town is composed of nine weirs connected by bridges, and the banks of the river are revenged by stones, which are 13 miles away. Every resident faces the water and every household goes to the river bridge, which breaks the pattern of "one river with two streets, followed by residents' shops" in Jiangnan market town.
6. Streets: There are eight main streets in Tongli Town, which are Zhuxing Street, Fuguan Street, Xindian Street, Shangyuan Street, Sanyuan Street, Dongxi Street, Yuxing Street and Nanxin Street. Each of the eight streets has its own characteristics, some are quiet and tranquil, some are shaded by green trees, some are near the water, and some are lined with shops. Some old-fashioned shops have installed neon lights, some Shikumen buildings have been replaced with aluminum windows, some have been painted brightly, and some are playing music that young people like, but these changes do not detract from the deep amorous feelings that the old street gives every visitor. The old street is a small river in Tongli where life is warm and colorful. Its change and unchanging will bring a new hope to the ancient town.
7. Bridge: The most mythical ancient bridge in Tongli Ancient Town is Fuguan Bridge. On the Longmen stone of this bridge, there is a vivid stone carving of "Fish Fossil in Peach Blossom Waves". Wujinqiao, located in the northwest suburb of the town, was the only way from Suzhou to Tongli and an important entrance to the ancient town. Zhongyuan Bridge, also known as Angry Bridge, is a beam-type three-hole stone bridge.
The three bridges in Tongli (namely Taiping Bridge, Geely Bridge and Changqing Bridge) are the most representative. Tongli people had the custom of "Three Bridges", which meant to eliminate disasters, solve problems and be happy and auspicious. Taiping Bridge and Geely
