Meilinqiao Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Xiangtan County. Meilin Township 1950 was established and merged into Yisuhe Town in the same year. 1958 belongs to Dongfeng Commune, 19 1 newly established Meilin Commune, 1984 was changed into Meilinqiao Township, and 1987 was merged into Tanjiashan Street. In 20 14, 38 administrative villages merged with 34 administrative villages, and in 20 15, the town was withdrawn and merged with Yisuhe town.
