Tu was born in Wenling, Zhejiang in 1969, and came to Yinchuan at the age of 8. When I was 16 years old and studying in Xi'an, I became obsessed with guitar.

In 1990, he returned to Yinchuan and formed his own copy band "Arc".

In 1994, he went to Beijing to study guitar and accepted many new musical concepts and technical theories.

In 1995, Ningxia's first original rock band "Transparent Band" was formed. He is the lead guitarist and songwriter.

In 1996, the "Ningxia's First Original Rock Concert" was held at Yinchuan JJ Disco, which caused a huge response. The music style at that time was mainly heavy metal.

98 performed to donate money to the flood disaster in Jinsha Township, and successfully held a collaborative performance with the visiting band STAR Band from Iraq and another local folk band at Chufeng Theater. He also made a guest appearance as a guitar player in STAR.

In 1999, he successfully held the "Century Rush---Chinese Rock Power Concert" at the Ningxia Stadium with famous Chinese bands "Tang Dynasty", "Overload", Zhang Chu, etc. .

At the end of 1999, the "Transparent Band" was disbanded due to differences in musical opinions.

In 2000, he went to Beijing to join the "Polaris" band as the lead guitar.

In 2001, the style of piano became more diversified, and he returned to Yinchuan to engage in personal music creation.

In 2002, he independently recorded and completed his personal album "The Story of Life".

In 2003, the "Suyang Band" was formed and participated in the "100.6 Voice Suyang Modern Guitar Concert" hosted by Yinchuan Traffic Music Station at the Yinchuan Stadium on December 28, creating the largest scale in Ningxia's history The largest and most successful solo concert.

On August 6, 2004, he participated in the performance of "The Glorious Road of Chinese Rock - Helan Mountain Rock Music Festival" in Helan Mountain.

In October 2004, he participated in a Ningxia-themed performance in Beijing.

In the second phase of the 2005 Spring Festival, there was only one Ningxia performance.

In May 2005, he participated in the Dashanzi China New Folk Art Festival in Beijing and received strong attention from the audience.

In June 2005, a feature film (Suyang Band) was filmed in the CCTV "Folk Songs of China. New Folk Songs" column.

At the same time, a special performance of "North and South Music" was held at the Wuming Highland Bar in Beijing with (Wang Lei. Pump Band).

Songs like "Wise Man" have begun to appear in the personal collections of many strangers.

In 2006, he signed a contract with the independent music label "Thirteenth Month" and released the album "Xianliang" in the same year.

In May 2007, he won the nomination awards for "Best New Band/Group" and "Best New Age/Ethnic Music Artist" at the 7th Chinese Music Media Awards.
