Sichuanese call "Wonton" Wonton. The first "Dragon Wonton" store in old Chengdu was established in 194 1, located in Yuelaichang, Chengdu. In the early 1950s, this shop moved to a new market. After the 1960s, it moved to the south section of Chunxi Road, a famous commercial district in Chengdu, which is known as the "Third Street of China". In 2007, it moved to the east of Zhongshan Square on Chunxi Road. At the beginning of opening the store, Mr. Zhang, one of the founders, and two other partners discussed opening a store in the "Fanhua Tea Garden" in Chengdu at that time. When discussing the name of the store, we borrowed the word "thick" from the name of the tea garden (Sichuan dialect "thick" and "dragon" are homonyms), and "dragon" means "auspicious" and "prosperous", hence the name.

Sichuanese call "Yuanxiao" "Tangyuan". A few years later, he learned his own craft, that is, he raised money to go in and out of the busy streets of old Chengdu or sell jiaozi in teahouses, theaters and other places. Lai Yuanxin's burden consists of a steaming cauldron at one end and a cabinet filled with spices at the other end, and the counter has the right to serve as a dining table. There is a shiny yellow bamboo tube tied at both ends of the burden, which is a stool for diners. Lighting oil lamps can not only attract customers, but also be used as cooking lighting in the dark. Lai Yuanxin's jiaozi Baggage became famous with the passage of time. First, the jiaozi he wrapped was delicate and even, and the stuffing was fragrant and thin. Secondly, he treats people kindly, and he has a good reputation. Chengdu people call the jiaozi he sells "Lai Tangyuan". After gaining this reputation, Lai Yuanxin paid more attention to the quality of glutinous rice balls, and his business became more and more prosperous. In 1930s, he opened a shop in North Chunxi Road, the most prosperous street in Chengdu. The name of the shop was named after Lai Tangyuan.
