Yinyuan

The Yinyuan air-raid shelter located at No. 201 Jiuhua Middle Road, between Zheshan Park and Guangji Temple, is open to the public from June 15th to September 15th every year. It is free and open from 9 am to 10 pm every day. The temperature inside the air raid shelter is maintained at 21-23 degrees.

The air-raid shelter is divided into: leisure and fitness area, national defense education exhibition area, air defense and disaster prevention knowledge area, and civil air defense knowledge exhibition area, which displays various types of equipment such as the Long March 3 carrier rocket and the aircraft carrier Varyag. The model is even equipped with a TV, allowing citizens to not only relax and entertain while enjoying the cool weather, but also receive national defense education.

Science and Technology Museum

The cliff of Wuhu Science and Technology Museum at No. 70 Yinhu North Road, Jiujiang District is a paradise for children to escape the summer heat and an excellent place for parent-child interaction. Here you can popularize science, operate science exhibits by yourself, and participate in science activities in person. The permanent exhibition areas include "Glory of the Times" (Hall A), "Military Technology" (Hall B), "Scientific Enlightenment" (Hall C), "Light of Wisdom", and "Children's World" (Hall D). Another thing is that it is free here and the air conditioning here is sufficient.

In order to enrich children's summer life, Wuhu Science and Technology Museum specially launched a series of science popularization activities this summer called "Summer Fun, Unlimited Science Popularization". A large number of exciting activities are coming, such as Lego robot training, primary school and mechanical science popularization studios, attitude popular science shows, 3D manufacturing maker activities, etc.

Museum

During the summer vacation, Wuhu Museum welcomes a large number of citizens every day. Here, people can enjoy the cool weather while visiting, which can not only escape the summer heat, but also enhance their understanding of the history, geography, culture and other aspects of Jiangcheng Wuhu. Therefore, it has become a good place for many parents and children to escape the summer heat during the holidays.

Opening hours: 9:00 to 17:00 every Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays) (no admission at 16:30), open on holidays. The Municipal Museum is open to the general public free of charge, and visitors can enter with valid ID cards and other documents.
