The pedestrian street itself is Zhangjiajie’s snack street, and the nearby Zhangjiajie Aviation School has good casserole noodles. You can go to Aviation School Tiancheng Supermarket where there is a Sanxiaguo, or you can take a bus to Master Hu’s Sanxiaguo. Taxi costs 10
bucks.
You can also go to the pedestrian street to eat which is also good.
If you want to have porridge in the morning, go to Puguang Temple where an old lady makes good white rice porridge.
If you are lucky, there is also stinky tofu there. However, the stinky tofu in Zhangjiajie is not as good as the one in Changsha.
By the way, there is a restaurant in Puguang Zen Temple that makes meatloaf with pickled vegetables and pork belly, which is very delicious. But I forgot the name. You can see there is a queue.
