Chen: This drama started at the end of August 20 17. In April this year, we went to Meng He, Changzhou with Mr. Mantang, and experienced for ourselves how so many famous Chinese medicine practitioners emerged in this small town built in Meng He and their deeds. The role of Weng Quanhai is an artistic image extracted by the screenwriter from four famous local doctors. This role is different from many roles I have played before and provides me with a rare role type.

Chen: Weng Quanhai is a doctor. I think this role should be more stable and down-to-earth. I have played dozens of roles and come into contact with many types of roles, but once I got the role, my first thought was to hide all the external or internal skills and skills behind me, so I just wanted to think about what he was thinking.

In the past year, I experienced it with my heart and let the characters flow out of my heart. At the moment when I call for preparation and start, my mind and mood must be adjusted to be consistent with the role, which is what actors often call "the airport". If this air port is right, the later play will be very smooth. When you are fully conceived and prepared, your skills will naturally help you. But if you deliberately use some techniques, you will be disconnected and separated from the role.

Obviously, "old Chinese medicine" is different from its life track, life age, personality and cultural background. But as far as his profession is concerned, such a doctor tried his best to protect the treasures of Chinese medicine for the sake of Chinese medicine, patients and his relatives when foreign invaders invaded.
