In Italy, there is a real city of the sky, which is the prototype of the floating "city of the sky" in the movie.

This small town was built 2,500 years ago, about 20 kilometers north of Rome. It was built on the top of the mountain. Looking down, it's all cliffs. From a distance, it really looks like a castle in the air, so it is called "the city of the sky".
