(1) Overview

The survey area is located in Xishan Village, Maliang Town, Baokang County, Hubei Province, and Baishuihe Village, Xiema Town. There are village-level simple highways, which are 95 kilometers away from Baokang County and belong to high school mountainous areas, with the highest point of 145 meters, the lowest point of 91 meters and the maximum height difference of 54 meters.

Hubei Geological Exploration Institute of Sinochem General Bureau of Geology and Mines carried out exploration work, and the exploration mineral was phosphorite, with the work degree of general survey and the exploration fund of 8 million yuan.

(2) Description of achievements

Geological mapping and drilling were the main exploration work, and 9 holes were drilled, with a total length of 8,126.58 meters. Through exploration, it is known that the phosphorite in this area is a concealed ore body, and * * * develops two layers, namely Ph2 and Ph1. The distribution of the whole region is stable. It is generally known that the phosphorite occurs in the second member of Doushantuo Formation of Upper Sinian system, and the phosphorite is concealed below 7 ~ 1m, with the dip angle of 5 ~ 12 to the northeast. Phosphorite is mainly dolomitic banded phosphorite, followed by massive and argillaceous banded phosphorite.

after resource estimation, the resource of phosphorus ore (333+334) in the area is 77,583 thousand tons, and the ore grade is 25.22%. (333) The resource is 37,519 thousand tons, and the ore grade is 24.67%; The resource is 464 thousand tons, and the ore grade is 25.73%.

(3) Brief process of achievement

On the basis of in-depth analysis of the distribution characteristics and laws of phosphorite beds in surrounding mining areas, the distribution characteristics of strata in the area were roughly found out through 1∶5 geological mapping, and then four exploration line profiles were measured at a distance of 6 meters, and nine boreholes were arranged at a grid of 12 meters× 6 meters.

firstly, drill ZK2, and see the second floor of the mine. The hole depth of Ph2 and Ph1 is 865.49-869.3m and 871.1-877.92m, respectively. The main type of ore is dolomite banded phosphorite, followed by massive phosphorite. Then ZK6, ZK44, ZK46, ZK41, ZK1, ZK52, ZK54 and ZK414 were drilled successively, all of which were found in the second floor of the mine.
