Mount Wutai is located in Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. It is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in my country. In 1992, it was approved as a "National Forest Park" by the Ministry of Forestry.

In January 2001, the National Tourism Administration approved it as "the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions".

In September 2005, Mount Wutai passed the fourth batch of national geological park review and became a "National Geopark".

In August 2007, the National Tourism Administration approved it as "the first batch of national AAAAA tourist attractions".

It was officially included in the World Heritage List at the 33rd World Heritage Conference held in Seville, Spain, on June 26, 2009.

It is one of the holy places of Buddhism in my country and is now part of Zhongnanshan National Forest Park.

It is said that the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built after this pagoda and is the earliest existing pagoda in Xi'an.

Nanwutai was called Taiyi Mountain in ancient times and was known as the "Zhongnan Shenxiu Area". It is one of the famous Buddhist holy places in my country.

There are five peaks on the mountain: Qingliang, Wenzhu, Xianshen, Lingying and Guanyin. Because it is located to the south of Wutai Mountain (Yaowang Mountain) in Yao County, Shaanxi Province, it is named Nan Wutai.

The natural scenery of Nanwutai is very good. From the bottom of the mountain, the five peaks are arranged like a pen stand, giving you an unobstructed view. It seems that they are very close. It is actually 12.5 kilometers away from Zhugu into the mountain to Dadai. There are mountains and rivers, twists and turns, dangerous peaks and beautiful rocks.
