Looking for tips on a two-day trip to Mount Emei and a one-day trip to Leshan

Emeishan is a bit tense for two days. If you only visit Leshan in the city, it will be the Giant Buddha and nothing else. Half a day is enough (of course, if you want to take a small train trip to Jiayang, you will not have enough time).

Therefore, I suggest you go to Leshan for half a day and Emeishan for two and a half days: D1: In the morning, you should play carefully at the Leshan Giant Buddha, which is 3 hours.

When you come out, get on the bus at the Big Buddha parking lot and go directly to the Emeishan Visitor Center (Baoguo Temple).

You can visit Baoguo Temple first.

Then take the scenic sightseeing bus in the center and go directly up the mountain to Leidongping. The journey takes at least 2 hours. Arrange accommodation after arrival. D2: Get up at 5 a.m. and the boss will call you!

After getting up, walk for 40 minutes to Jieyindian Cable Car Station and watch the sunrise on the Golden Summit.

The opening time of the ropeway is adjusted according to the sunrise, so you can rest assured that there will be no delays.

After watching the Sunrise Golden Summit and visiting the Shifang Samantabhadra and Huazang Temple, we started hiking down the mountain after about 9 o'clock.

It takes one hour to reach Leidongping, and then continue hiking down the mountain towards Xixiangchi.

Go to the right hand side of Jiulinggang in the direction of Xianfeng Temple.

We arrived at Xianfeng Temple to see the sky. If it was still early, we would continue walking for another 2 hours to stay at Hongchunping.

If you are tired or it gets late, stay at Xianfeng Temple.

D3: After breakfast, continue down the mountain and pass through Hongchunping to the ecological monkey area.

Then cross the sky to Qingyin Pavilion.

The following itinerary depends on your physical strength: If your physical strength is good, take the right hand path from Qingyin Pavilion to Guangfu Temple and Zhongfeng Temple, then go right to Shenshui Pavilion, Chunyang Hall, Leiyin Temple, and Fuhu Temple to exit the mountain.

Baoguo Temple Visitor Center completes the whole mountain tour.

If you feel tired on the first day at Qingyin Pavilion and don’t want to walk any more today, go out of the mountain from Qingyin Pavilion in the direction of Wuxiangang, take the scenic sightseeing bus at the Wuxiangang parking lot and return to the Baoguo Temple Visitor Center.

Make up for the visit to Fuhu Temple.
