2. The main business district of Zhaotong is near the municipal party committee and municipal government, namely Chairman Mao Square, Luo Binghui Square, Doujie and Qingnian Road.

The scenic spots in Zhaotong city mainly include: Qingguan Pavilion, Chairman Mao Square (near the entrance of the municipal party committee), Luo Binghui Square (near the municipal government), Phoenix Mountain and Yuanbaoshan. There are also Huanglian River Scenic Area and Dabaoshan Scenic Area (the hometown of black-necked cranes) in Daguan County nearby.

4. Zhaotong's specialty products mainly include: apple (quite delicious), Zhaotong sauce (really delicious), gastrodia elata (a real specialty, which is indispensable), ham (personally, it is better than Xuanwei ham), Eucommia ulmoides, konjac and so on.
