How to make Laos coconut soup powder
1.
Prepare the ingredients
2.
Wash the bean sprouts , wash and chop lettuce leaves, grate carrots, set aside.
3.
Slice galangal, dice spicy millet, cut lemongrass stems into about an inch long, wash and cut mint leaves, basil, and coriander into sections and set aside.
4.
Wash and cut the beef tenderloin into cubes and set aside.
5.
Add salt to the water, bring to a boil, add rice noodles and cook for 5 minutes.
6.
Rinse the cooked rice noodles under cold water and set aside.
7.
Put coconut milk into the pot and add 500ml of water to heat. (Because the coconut milk I used is thicker, I dilute it with water. If you use coconut milk, just add 800ml of coconut milk.) After boiling, add lemongrass segments, lemon leaves, ginger slices and millet, and cook over low heat. Cook for 10 minutes.
8.
Add 3 large bowls of water, add pork and fish sauce, sprinkle in appropriate amount of pepper, and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
9.
Put an appropriate amount of vegetables and herbs such as coriander, basil, mint, etc. in the bowl, and then add an appropriate amount of rice noodles.
10.
Pour on the hot soup base.
11.
Pour in lemon juice and serve!
