Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport is only 1 kilometers away from downtown Xiamen, and it is the fourth largest entry and exit airport in China after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. There is a bus from the airport to the railway station. The fare is 1 yuan. No matter where you go, you can take the bus to the railway station first and then transfer.

Taxis

There are a lot of taxis in Xiamen. The starting price of taxis is 8 yuan (3 kilometers). After that, every kilometer in 2 yuan, there is usually a sign near the bus shelter: temporary pick-up and drop-off points for taxis and minibuses. At the gates of big shopping malls, stores or shopping centers, there will be special taxi pick-up areas, which are lined up like those at the airport. The order is very good.

Bus

There are 5 bus lines in the urban area, and all buses or double-decker buses are sold without tickets. The fares are RMB 1 yuan in winter and 2 yuan in summer. Ferry Port, Xiamen University and Railway Station are the main bus departure stations. In addition, there are green minibuses, the body of which is sky blue, with the names of starting and ending stops at the front. Passengers can be picked up anywhere at non-fixed stops and places outside the restricted area (stop at the wave), and the fare is accumulated from RMB 1 yuan, and paid according to the actual distance to the destination; Minibuses are characterized by convenience and flexibility, but sometimes they may delay waiting for passengers.
