This is 44 children standing on the big stage of the Winter Olympics, singing the Olympic anthem "Ode to the Olympics" in Greek with clear and childlike voices full of hope and yearning. You may not be able to imagine that three months ago, among them, they didn't even know what the world outside the mountains was like, let alone perform on the stage and sing in a language they were not familiar with!

These 44 children have not studied music professionally, and the whole choir has only two parts. They don't come from such a rich elephant court, but from Baoding, Hebei Province in China. The choir that sings for the whole world is called "Malanhua Choir". The 44 children come from five different poverty alleviation primary schools in mountainous areas.

Then why did the directors of the opening ceremony choose this group of mountain children to sing "Ode to the Olympic Games"? Fuping county is located at the first degree of the northern east road of Taihang Mountain, which is called the "three areas in one" of old areas, mountainous areas and poverty-stricken areas. On December 29th, 212, the marching order for China to get rid of poverty was officially issued from here. On February 29th, 22, Fuping County got rid of poverty, and the national fight against poverty won. In 24, Deng Xiaolan, a retired policeman from Beijing, started music teaching in Malan Primary School. Eighty years ago, his father Deng Tuo started Jinchaji Daily in Malan Village.

How did these children manage to learn a foreign language song and reach the performance level in more than three months? After the establishment of the choir, there have been professional instructors from all walks of life to guide these children, presenting a unique work to the people of the world. At the moment when the children sang, this was the most powerful voice of China, the most powerful voice of the future. When the music started, I was full of tears. When the music ended, I was already in tears.
