Fang Tai's original name was Ren Lisha, and her husband's surname was Fang. She was originally from Yixing, Jiangsu Province, and settled in Hong Kong with her family when she was a child. After marriage, she worked as a housewife until the youngest daughter went to primary school to start her career-starting a cooking center and teaching cooking.
