However, during the current epidemic, you can only make an appointment in advance to go to the local certificate processing hall. The visa processing time will be relatively long, so it is recommended to prepare in advance.

Taking Guangzhou as an example, local residents of Guangzhou can apply for the visa in 7 working days (generally, it does not take 7 days); if they are non-local residents, it will take up to 21 working days (not required in actual testing).

2. Nucleic acid test proves that when entering or leaving Macau, you need to provide your own nucleic acid report within 7 days. Note that it is entry and exit, so the time from your arrival in Macau to departure needs to be within these 7 days.

You can go to the local hospital for nucleic acid testing 1-2 days in advance, and the price is RMB 75 (specifically subject to local conditions).

Nucleic acid test results can be viewed in the local health code. It is recommended to bring a paper version of the report in case of emergency. When transferring to the manual channel, a paper version of the report is required.

3. Due to the epidemic in Hong Kong or Australian dollars, the "Fortune Bus" (hotel shuttle bus) in Macau casinos has suspended many services, and most of them stop operating after 6 p.m.

So the transportation in Macau is no longer as convenient as before.

Be prepared to have more cash to pay for a taxi. Although the taxi driver can use his WeChat to collect payment, he will charge you directly in RMB, so you will lose money after calculating the exchange rate!

Moreover, many time-honored food restaurants and snack bars in Macau have not yet opened WeChat or Alipay for payment, and only accept cash.

You can also pay directly in RMB, but they will not calculate the exchange rate difference with you. They will charge you directly at 1:1, so it is most cost-effective to exchange cash for MOP.

4. Cost Nowadays, traveling to Macau cannot be too cheap.
