Introduction to Nanxiang Steamed Bun

Introduction

Nanxiang Steamed Bun is a traditional famous product in nanxiang town, formerly known as Nanxiang Big Meat Steamed Bun, and later called Nanxiang Big Bag. It is famous for its thin skin, tender meat, juicy, delicious and beautiful shape. It began in Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 111 years. Founded by Huang Mingxian, the dim sum owner of Rihuaxuan, the small cage owner of Rihuaxuan was employed by the ancient garden or set up Songhexuan himself. Restaurants in the whole town are scrambling to copy, and Nanxiang people in Shanghai also invited Master Nanxiang to open Nanxiang Xiaolongdian in Shanghai Chenghuang Temple and Tibet Road respectively, which was full of customers.

History

The origin of Nanxiang Xiaolong is mainly distributed in nanxiang town, Jiading District, and then extended to Jiading District, Shanghai Yuyuan Old Town God Temple and other places. Huang Mingxian, founder of Nanxiang steamed buns, was born in nanxiang town, Jiading District. In his early years, he opened Ri Huaxuan Pastry Group Store and operated Nanxiang Big Steamed Bread. Huang Mingxian picks steamed buns every day and sells them in Guyi Garden, which is famous for its delicious taste and popularity. Bosses come to Guyi Garden to sell big meat steamed buns, which affects the business of Huang Mingxian, and it is not a patent for one person. So he adopted the method of "big meat with thin skin stuffing, big meat with small meat", made thin skin with refined white flour, and then made stuffing with refined meat without monosodium glutamate. In order to make it fresh, he cooked the skin with chicken soup and mixed it with frozen meat. Sprinkle a small amount of ground sesame seeds into the stuffing to obtain its fragrance; According to different seasons, add crab powder, shrimp or spring bamboo shoots to make them fresh and tender. Each steamed bread is more than 1.4 fold, and 51g flour is used for 11 steamed bread, which is translucent and very small. When coming out of the cage, take one and put it in a small dish, pierce the skin and hold a dish of juice, which is the best, and gradually form the characteristics of thin skin, fresh juice, tender meat and much stuffing.

Later, Huang Mingxian was invited by Nanxiang people in Shanghai to open a Nanxiang steamed bread shop in Shanghai Chenghuang Temple, and an Angu Guyuan steamed bread shop in Tibet Road, which was named Nanxiang Xiaolong. So far, it has a good reputation. Because Nanxiang Cage is famous for its delicious taste and high popularity, peer bosses have followed suit, making Nanxiang Cage visible in Shanghai and even the whole country. Huaxuan is very famous, and everyone is vying to eat Nanxiang steamed buns.

In p>1963, Guyiyuan resumed the operation of Nanxiang Cage, recruited cage owners from the people, constantly improved the formula and reorganized Nanxiang Cage. In June, 1981, Nanxiang Cage was produced by Jiading Frozen Food Co., Ltd. and put into the international market. In the first half of 1984, it was exported to Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, Canada and other regions. Nanxiang steamed buns entered the international market and went abroad.
