Design concept of exhibition area
The design concept of exhibition area is to use all kinds of interactive exhibitions, exhibits and exhibition areas suitable for children's physical and mental health development, fully mobilize children's five senses and explore the surrounding world. The objectives of these exhibitions are as follows:
1. Stimulate children's curiosity, imagination, creativity and problem-solving ability;
2. Enhance children's self-confidence by exploring, discovering the world around them and knowing themselves;
3. Enhance children's sociality and interpersonal skills, and encourage children to cooperate and engage in creative activities;
4. Children and parents * * * spend high-quality time together to strengthen parent-child relationship;
5. Strive to become the contact hub of schools, families and communities;
6. Strive to create an interactive learning environment that is safe and suitable for children's growth;
7. Become a part of children's happy childhood.
Small supermarket:
There are shelves with physical or simulated exhibits of main and by-products such as vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat and bread. Exhibits are placed behind shelves and counters, and many empty boxes, bottles and so on of such goods are placed in front. In order to realistically simulate the supermarket in real life, there are shopping baskets and bags for children's games at the entrance, and some toy money (which can be withdrawn from small banks) for children to purchase goods. Every exhibit in the supermarket is marked with a bar code, and children can read the name and price of the goods from the electric screen when they pay at the cashier.
My home:
is children's favorite exhibition area, and almost all children's museums have such an exhibition area. The exhibition area consists of two floors. On the first floor, there is a small kitchen and dining room. Dining tables, dining chairs and tableware are provided in the exhibition area, as well as menus for customers to order. There are small stoves, pools, microwave ovens, refrigerators, and other fixed exhibits in the kitchen, as well as consumable props such as chopping boards, pots and pans, and delicacies from various countries. There are also aprons, tablets, chalk and so on for children's role-playing. Role games will be colorful: from customers to chefs to waiters, children will linger in this area and have endless fun.
Animal Hospital:
There are examination tables and beds for animal examination, small pools, faucets, cabinets and drawers for animal medical examination; There are also many animal pictures, materials, animal model toys, weighing scale, X-ray reader, animal cages, nests, brushes, wall clocks and so on.
Giant Tree House:
Giant Tree House shows a tree that can be climbed inside and outside, which is an organism composed of roots, trunks, branches and crowns. Children can get into the tree through the bottom of a tree and a hole in the trunk. On one side of the tree, there is a tree "door" with a height of about 1.9 meters to enter the trunk composed of three climbing layers. The tree also has a branch passage, and children can climb to the second floor of another exhibition area-"My Home". The living space of various animals and plants is displayed on the tree. The canopy is the home of the goshawk, and the branches and trunks are the homes of Jay, Woodpecker and Sable. There are also many living places for insects, lizards, spiders, bees, dragonflies, tits and other animals on the trunks, branches and leaves. There are all kinds of rats living in the roots. Children can move the rats and rearrange their places.
Shadow Room:
In a dark room, when visitors press the button on the wall, the lights in the room will turn on for a few seconds. At this time, visitors will stick to the wall and stand for a few seconds. After the lights turn off automatically, they will see their shadows appear on the wall, and the shadows will last for more than ten seconds before they slowly disappear.
Hourglass Pendulum:
There is a funnel pendulum above the exhibition table that can hold sand. When the pendulum is filled with sand, it will swing and circulate in its own unique path, and the sand contained in it will gradually leak down, forming an interesting pattern on the table. You can be surprised to find that no matter how carefully you design it, you can't make the two swing patterns exactly the same. This explains a "uncertainty principle" in physics.
Giant Funnel:
This is an imported giant funnel with a diameter of about one meter, and the inner side of the funnel is specially designed and processed. When people put a coin upright on the top of the funnel to make it slide down, it will roll many times around the inner wall of the funnel along a circular track, and the speed will get faster and faster, and the radius of the track will get smaller and smaller, approaching the bottom of the funnel, and the rotation speed of the coin will reach its peak, and finally it will fall from the central hole.
magnet area:
the magnet area consists of a magnetic table, a magnetic wall, a magnetic frame and various experimental items. Children can understand the concept of magnetism, what can be attracted to magnetism and what can't be attracted to it. You can build all kinds of interesting magnetic shapes.
